What luxurious amenities are available on a party bus?

I've been on party buses previously, but they didn't have any opulent facilities, so it wasn't a great experience. What kind of amenities can you often find on a party bus?

Very unusual first post on a Disney board, but hey: Welcome!

I would check with the company you are planning to book with what their options are. They probably have more experience. What did you miss on your trips?

When you say 'party bus', I am thinking of 17 year olds getting drunk on their graduation trip to Salou. But that is probably showing my age and being from The Netherlands ;) in my time that was the thing you did after high school.

If this is the kind of party bus you are thinking of, I would look for a bus with a toilet, lots of garbage bags, hopefully some to clean and keep an eye on the youngsters. Oh, and seats where the arm rests can be moved out of the way so you can lay down. Comfortable chairs is also a nice one to have if you have a couple of days to travel. And then I would also check do they have a 2nd driver to take over on long journeys.

The ones around here? Blacked out windows, gross port a potties, stripper poles, and music so loud you can hear it for blocks, with the bass kicked up so high that people in neighboring houses feel like their walls are about to come down.

Sorry, I live right off a main road where the party buses go by every night until around 1am or so. They're obnoxious.

I would think it would completely depend on the company and what was offered. I also would have to assume their are different packages so you get what you want/pay for.

Just want to welcome you to the dis, paul. Can't help you with your inquiry, I've not been on a party bus, yet.

Depends on the party bus. And it depends upon the city in which the party bus operates. We don't have any around here (Thank God) but the big city in the next county over has them. Most of them are sleazy, loud, stock cheap swill, and the residents hate them. But there are some with better stuff in them. Of course you'll pay for it. Some cities regulate them better than others. The city near me tried to but then the state passed a law that they can't.

I’ve been on some that were gross and some very nice. It depends on the type you hire. The nice one had leather seats, a decent toilet, fun lighting, good alcohol, and a great sound system. The bad one was a converted school bus. No A/C, two stripper poles, a lot of seats removed for dancing, a cooler for beer (like 2 big igloo coolers), a bucket (for emergencies), string lights, strobe lights, and a self installed stereo system that was VERY loud. I think there was a disco ball, too. My hotel GM rented it to take the executive staff to a Red Sox game as a team building exercise… we rolled through the streets of Boston and everyone heard us coming - for blocks. It was very interesting, not exactly what he expected. He asked us not to share any pictures of the trip on social media. We didn’t but the hotel employees who heard the bus roll up out front (a 4.5 star hotel) sure did!

I can't say I've ever seen "opulent" and "party bus" in the same sentence before! 🤣 I've never seen any with tons of amenities; my understanding is that the party bus is more about getting you around (and giving you a space to party while doing so), but the bus itself isn't mean to have tons of amenities. Though here in Chicago if you have a party bus and are serving alcohol you have to have a security guard on board, maybe some think that's opulent? 🤷‍♀️

Don't for get colored LEDs!

This has been my experience with party buses as well.

I'd expect that in Pahrump, Nevada......

Stereotypically speaking of course because I wouldn't know anything about that.

They have those in Nashville also.
Ah yes, Pedal Taverns. Where you can exercise your beer calories off while drinking (and likely throw up from the heat as well) They have party everything there. It's way out of hand.

The Fur Bus is an Atlanta original.
