What little things (tastes, smells, etc.) reminds you of Disney?

I would agree with the OP. I always drink Cherry Coke from the refillable mugs at Disney for breakfast with a bagel. I rarely drink soda at home anymore, but when I see or taste it, I am transported right to Disney breakfasts! Unfortunately, Cherry Coke disappeared for awhile from most drink stations, but I have heard it might be making a comeback.

That is too funny. I tell people for me, "vacation is all about the butter and criossants."

There is nothing better than biting into a croissant (instead of my measley english muffin and sugar free strawberry jam) and thinking "I cannot believe it is really butter!"

I have eye cream and face moisturizer that is orange scented. First time I used it I told DH that I smelled like Soarin! Love that stuff.

For me it's the smell of the Poly - I don't know what it is (probably stale water) but my sister and I both said the same thing to our Dad about it one day - so I wasn't the only crazy one!

LOL! So funny someone started this thread because recently I became slightly addicted to playing the Bejewelled app on my phone. Every time I played I thought of Disney and started thinking I was nuts until I realized that the music playing during the game is similar to the Future World music piped in Epcot!

We will be there the same week. We often go then because our kids don't start school until after Labor Day and the crowds are very low.

When I am around boats & I smell the exhaust it reminds me of the Disney boats puttering around the Seven Seas Lagoon.

Certain air conditioners remind me of Disney too.

The smell of this certain type of sunscreen my mom always put on us at Disney World reminds me of Disney every time I use it now.
The smell of Living with the Land signals Disney to me.
And also early morning humidity reminds me of walking to the dining hall at POR.

Wow! I got that app about 3 months ago and thought the same exact thing!!! I told my wife and she could not relate/see the connection. I'm glad someone is with me.

The thing that reminds me the most of Disney, is the smell of Alexandria burning in Spaceship Earth.

Its the same smell they have used since I was a kid, and once in a while I will get a whiff of it somewhere at home. I love that.

My daughter picked out a Lotso Huggin' Bear from the gift shop after Buzz Lightyear Spaceranger Spin.... it smells like strawberry! We also took with us BaBW's Vanilla Sugar body spray to keep the room smellin' good... and mixed with Lotso's strawberry smell.... Now that Lotso's in her room at home I reserved that spray specifically for that room!

Oddly enough, it is the citrus restroom cleaner. I have walked into a few non-Disney washrooms where they use the same and it is very evocative. As a mom of three kids, we spent as much time in the washrooms at Disney as on the attractions, I kid you not!

That smell always brings me back! How can I get that for my bathroom at home.

Its the Body Shop citrus facial line. The tubes are orange. I'm not home so I can't look at the exact name.

They have a tangerine shower gel thats pretty close too.

THANK YOU!!! I'm glad i'm not the only one who thinks this! My car is a perfect example , I dont use the air thatoften just cause I'm not a big fan of it, but when I do , (and I think its cause I dont use it often) there is a certain smell, not bad, but a smell that makes me think of certain places at disney that are air conditioned... God its so nice to talk about this stuff and its so normal here!!, LOl!

OOh as another thing to add, I work in a salon and during pedicure season I use a orange scented oil foot soak, Quite a few people (only those who get my obsession) will say " omg, it smells like soarin"!!" I love that!!

31 more days till I can get a "real" dose of it!!!

I have to admit that I even like the stinky water smell at the potc ride!! If I smell that outside of Disneyland I automatically think of the parks.
