What Laundry Detergent is your favorite and do you line dry your clothes to save money

No line drying here - and I wouldn't want to. Yellow pollen in the spring and fall.
Birds all over our backyard in summer so the laundry would be dirtied from them (I feed them). Winter I wouldn't go out to hang it up if I could.

Favorite detergent is All Free and Clear with Purex free and clear type as the 2nd. I personally like Tide but my husband breaks out from it.

1. Tide Oxy he. Although regular Tide he is fine.
2. No, we don't have a wash line. No idea where we would attach it to.

Vinegar didn't work very well for me. It left some stinky residue, although it did make my towels fluffy soft. :cloud9: Again, maybe the water is too hard here. Great for making crunchy pizza crust, not good for stinky odor? :confused3

Also, one can't mix vinegar with bleach as it creates some toxic gas. So, I wouldn't be able to use it with my loads of white laundry that I bleach. I can't have fresh smelling color & dark clothes sitting in a drawer or closet with white clothes still having an odor. :crazy2:

Wow, that last statement sounds racist to clothes. :duck: :rotfl:

I do an extra rinse with the vinegar. We don't have enough clothes that we can bleach, so it is never a problem for me.

I also use Bac Out in a spray in armpit areas of certain clothes. I tried other things and the problem was that the deodorant residue would stop the clothes from getting cleaned properly.
