We need to get some new sheets for our bed. We have a king size mattress and it is HUGE. Deep pockets are a must. It just seems any we have bought from Target have just shrunk so much after a few washes and they keep popping off the end. Drives me nuts!

Land's end....they are the best. Nice deep pockets. I LOVE their flannel ones!!!

I lbought Chris Madden 400 ct sheets from Penney's two xmas's ago. Rreally nice sheets with deep pockets.

Most of Penney's sheets are good quality and they're always on sale.

Oh yes, I have a sheet set from Lands End that must be 15 years old and still going strong.

I love the Pima Cotton sheets I bought at Costco. They have deep pockes and are so smooth. I bought their Egyptian cotton sheets and they are soft and durable as well but I go back to the Pima ones.

I will say though DH and I just stayed at the Westin in Philly for 4 days and those sheets on those heavenly beds are fabulous...but they are pretty pricey!!

I have a set of Sonoma 400 thread count Egyptian Cotton sheets from Kohl's. They are SO soft, and only cost me $40 for my queen bed. They are really, really, really well fitting (we have an oversized pillow top matress), and still fit well even after DF accidentally washed them in hot water :headache: I recommend them and plan on purchasing only them in the future. :thumbsup2

I have a set of sheets from the Hotel brand at Bed Bath and Beyond. They have deep pockets and lasted a couple years now and get softer with every wash. I am bored with them now and looking for new sheets and new comforter set also.

Ikea VILA, satin-woven cotton sheets (just a fancy way of saying NOT satin! :rotfl: ) We love them!

I have some sheet sets from Target that are 1000 TC that I got on sale for $20 each. I swear they were priced incorrectly. I know I stood there looking at them wondering, "What the heck?!". I got 4 sets! I love them. Deep pockets, so soft. Haven't shrunk at all. I only wish I had bought more. It was a rare occasion of being at the right place at the right time. :upsidedow

I'd like to try lands' end sheets. Now I buy my sheets at JCPenney. I am a high thread count, white sheet person.

Don't forget to make sure all your king-size sheets have stripes. Makes it a snap to tell which way they go on.

LOL,We have had some of our sheets for going on 10 years.I got them from WalMart of all places. They are now getting a bit thread bare:laughing: .So I am going to have to buy some more. These are like a tshirt material, not like the ones they sale now.

It's all about the thread count! Never buy any sheets with a thread count lower than 400. Thought the type of cotton also matters. I prefer Egyptian Cotton. I buy almost all my sheets (and towels) at either TJ Maxx or Marshall's. By checking their sale stuff often, I can usually find much higher quality at great prices.

Brilliant!!! I am forever struggling with our sheets, I will have to remember this!!! :thumbsup2

I bought sheets from Costco which are great but I just bought Egyptian cotton 600 ct from Overstock.com. They are just great, so soft.

Holy Cow...$169.00 for a queen size flannel sheet set at Lands End! I've never spent that much on a set of flannel sheets!

I bought several sets of sheets a long time ago from Penney's. They are still good as new, but maybe better because they are softer now.
