What kind of poncho do you use?

ALWAYS have used Disney ponchos for the past 10 years with no complaints. Plus - they'll exchange them for free if they rip, tear or lose those little snaps!
I had no idea they would replace them for free! We bought ours two years ago, in the Japan Pavilion, during a sudden downpour. We've brought them back with us every year, even though they are missing a snap or two. Maybe this trip, it's time for a replacement!

We put our 4 adult ponchos rolled up tightly in a large ziplock. When we get back to the room we spread them out so they can dry.

I'm impressed you can get the 4 of them small enough to fit in one ziplock!

The Disney ponchos are much nicer than the dollar store ones. Those are worthless in all but a very light rain. And yeah, I do care about how much plastic and crap I throw out.

25% off right now with code PARKDEALS. They seem to be out of stock online but the shop parks App has them.

I was wondering if they still did that. I remember MANY years ago you if you needed a laugh was to say loudly, "You with the mickey mouse poncho on" watch everyone turn around.

We have Totes ponchos that we bought 15 years ago! They are much longer than the Disney ones. Used them a few times at Epcot when going to our ADR. Stayed nice and dry....except for feet.

THIS!!! I hate producing more trash. We bought our Disney ponchos the first trip and we take them with us every trip. I only put the ponchos in the back pack of there is a chance of rain. They are bulky but they are not heavy. I have been able to fit mine in my clutch. The windbreakers are only good if the rain doesn't come in an angle and get you pants all wet.

I know it's Florida and it rains alot but how likely are we to need heavy duty ones the week after Thanksgiving? I bought some dollar store ones and like how small they are. There is 6 of us. We never needed ponchos when we went in early May before. We don't plan to return for a few years so they won't get repeated use for a while.

Yep. We had the cheap ones last trip. We've usually gotten a few uses out of ours but not this time. They shredded immediately. We didn't get any more rain, so I didn't replace them. But I'm probably going to pick some Disney ponchos up with the discount code. They had nice ones at Universal, too, with Wizarding World of Harry Potter written on them.

98cent ponchos from the camping section at Walmart. Small & fit in my purse easily, then I can just trash them when it's done. Zero desire to haul around a damp poncho.

I don't recall it ever raining heavily like summer rain while we were there in November. I'm not sure it has ever rained on us during the cooler months, I'm sure it does rain but def not like summertime.
