What kind of notice given when hrs extended?

We're going 1st 2wks of June. Been surprised @ the listed closing time of 10pm for MK. But, I've heard it's typical for hrs to be extended closer to that time?Anyone know how far in advance it's announced if so? Best place other than listed operating schedule to start checking? Will FP time slots open up if so, would they be needed that late of night (for a decent wait time on uber hard to get like A&E/ Dwarf Mine Train). If hrs are extended, will Wishes still be @ the same time, or move to extended closing?

I use EasyWDW website, they post changes to operating schedules soon after they are released. Also the crowd calender has been spot on for our planning in the past, love that site!

. . . usually 2-weeks down to two-days
. . . work schedules come out 2-weeks in-advance
. . . so, there are relatively few last-minute changes
. . . but, last-minute changes do occur 3-5 times per busy season
. . . after all, overtime is mandatory, so CM's must work if there is a change
. . . in fact, two days this year, extrea hours were announced the day-of the hours
. . . sure caused major complaints from CM's affected

Last year, final June hours were published on May 13.

Hours were taken away and added about two weeks before, and some were added while I was in the park in September! Keep checking all the time.

Agree with the others - keep checking! We were there the week before Thanksgiving which is a relatively slow week and showed up for an 8am Tusker House ADR only to find AK's hours had been extended to an 8am opening. This was on a Tuesday, and they announced the new early opening for AK the prior Friday.

With extension of hours occurring within the 60-day FP+ window opening, has anybody had their plans disrupted? That is, if one plans on early morning FP's at Epcot the day after an MK day, then two weeks out MK hours are extended so you want to take advantage of that....have you been able to move the Epcot FP's (for instance) to later in the day, or are you out of luck?
