What kind of ID for Kids...

I am 6' and DW is 5'11", so I don't think we'll be looking up to either DD, but you never know... maybe we'll have a 6'5" basketball player by the time they are done growing!

My dad is 6'2" and my stepmom is 5'11", and their sons are 6'4". Their teenage daughter just had a growth spurt and is finally as tall as her mom, with more room to grow.

(my mom was 5'1" so I was lucky to hit 5'3", sigh....my 6 year old is above my armpit height and is in the middle of a pre-growth spurt eating binge so he'll be growing again soon...my dad's height obviously came through my DNA even if I didn't benefit from it!)

Nah, you'll be lucky..they probably won't make it to 5'10''. I'm 5'8''and dh is 6'4''....the poor kid was doomed to tallness.

We have flown numerous time acroos country and although id isn't required we usually take our sons' non-driver id's with us because my husband and son share the same first name but different middle. That way we aren't carrying birth certificates and if there is a problem we have an"official" id for everyone. Plus if GOD forbid they ever got lost we had a picture to show on hand.

I have a 14 year old DS, who has been flying since he was about 5. From the time he was 7 until he was 12, he would regularly be 'selected' for additional security. I have been carrying ID for him ever since this started (Official copy of Birth Certificate).

He now has a passport that we take with us when we fly.
