have an AP? If you go a couple of times a year you may not be able to stay on site all the time (lack of money). Is there a place (like maybe in DTD) that anyone have stayed at that doesn't cost alot of money? With our Ap we would go a few times a year for a couple of days each but would have to stay in a "cheaper" room some of the times we go.

Thanks,
Mike W.

I wait for the $20.00 rate at the Courtyard by Marriott Downtown Disney to come out each year (good in Aug and Sept). I check mousesavers frequently for codes and offsite bargains. I am a Marriott member and check their website--right now there are several hotels in the WDW & Universal areas for $59 per night in July & August. I use Marriott points and stay for free. I also belong to Holiday Inn but find better rates at marriott.

I use Priceline and aim for a resort in the $60 range. Usually wind up with the Hilton or Wyndam and have really enjoyed both of them. I have also had the Marriott which is a great hotel.
