what kind of discounts can u get with an American Express card at WDW?

No, they do not since they started with Visa.

the reason I thought they still did, is because on pg.711 of the unofficial guide, in the description for Hoop de doo, it say under discounts: american Express discount avail for the 9:30 show only. this guide is the 2005 one. .
