What kind of caterpillar?

I found him floating around in my hot tub. After I saved his life (no cpr) he headed right for the Shasta daisies. I can't seem to ID him though

This one was crawling all over the ornamental grass.

Yup, that's more like it. You guys are amazing I googled pics and didn't come up with these. Fun looking at all of these caterpillars.

Just from the top of my head, the first looked to me like a tomato hornworm.

Usually they have parasites clinging to them and so have white apendages. Anyway, that's what my guess would be.
