What items can we bring onto FJ?

We will be staying on-site from 6/18-6/20. What we have been doing while waiting in line at Disneyworld is to use the iPad or read a book while waiting in line. What items can we carry in line and onto the ride?

Only v small items like a purse/sunglasses etc will apparently fit in the stash-away in the FJ seats. Only other thing you can try is having a small waist bag but make sure the test seats can close with it on you.

iPads are quite large so I wouldn't have thought you can take it on, unless you're prepared to risk damaging it by putting it up your top.

There are lockers (free for one ride at a time) at the start of the FJ queue just inside the castle.

We rode FJ 3 times last Sunday/Monday. I can confirm that the only items which can be stowed whilst you are on the ride are sunglasses/camera sized. There is a compartment behind your back which opens to put the items in and then closes with you against it.

Anything larger than this has to go into the lockers at the entrance.

Do you have a rough idea of the dimensions? I ask because I have a pouch that I use that's approx 6"x5"x1.5".

I saw many people split up, where one stayed in line and the other went to the lockers to stow their stuff. So many people were doing this that no one seemed to complain. And as much as an ipad costs, i would not risk bringing it on board. If i had to guess, I would say the small compartment in the back of the seat is about 3 or 4 inches by 6 inches. The WWoHP is SO incredible!

Thanks for the replies. The ipad will stay in the locker. We'll just have to settle for Plants vs Zombies on our ipod touch.
