The other places I have picked up from hanging around here are Costco and Gardengrocer.com. We will probably be using the latter because we will be buying breakfast food and wipes and such too.
I've never shipped water, but here's an alternative:
If you have room in your luggage, we take a Pur Filtered Pitcher and our own water bottles, 2 each. We take one to the park and keep one in ice for when we return back to the room.
For me, the pitcher doesn't take up too much room because I stick stuff in it, like rolled up t-shirts, etc.
We ordered a case of water from Costco in June, shipped to the resort for $7.00. Didn't have to bring/pack anything -- it was waiting in our room when we opened the door.
We used Costco this past June for a case of water - under $8 to the Yacht Club. The YC charged $5 for delivery since it came through their convention services. It was still cheaper than buying in the parks.
So how far in advance do you buy the water so that it gets there at the right time? Will the resort hold it for you? For how long? Thinking of doing this for our next trip.

Yes, preference of bottled over tap for me. Also, I like to freeze a few bottles in advance and put them in a small cooler or backpack with more bottles of (non-frozen) water so that we can have cold water any time.
We like to have it to take into the parks with us. Before the airlines started charging an arm and a leg for baggage fees, we would just throw it in a suitcase.
How long will they hold the water for you? We will be in DC before WDW, I won't have have access to a computer there to order water, so if I order it before we leave home, it may sit at WDW for a week before we get there. Is that too long?
