What is your wait limit?

I don't mind up to 40 if I really enjoy the attraction, hubby won't do more than 20, but I've talked him up to 30. Ah the joys of compromise in marriage!

I can wait 30 minutes, but that is for something I really want and if I am in a decent mood. Maybe, just maybe; I could wait 35 minutes, but that is rare. For me to wait longer than that there would have to be something really good at the end of the line. Like Johnny Depp or Orlando Bloom waiting just for me.

Very interesting question - I think that my limit would be 45 minutes if it is an attraction that I need to go on. I don't travel with small children, just adults, so we don't mind waiting a little more because we can keep each other company.

20 minutes at most. Honestly, anything over a posted 10 min. wait is cause for a discussion. Except for 13 min. at ToT, of course. :)

With the availability of FastPass and other planning strategies...I don't like to wait more than 10-15 minutes tops no matter what the season or what the attraction is.

Since we always go in the summer and we take a slower pace than most people, we are willing to wait in line up to about an hour. If a line is longer than an hour wait and it's something we really want to do sometimes I'll wait and sometimes I won't (depends on mood).

ok...here is a question.

How long is too long on queue lines for you?

For every ride we have different wait times. For example: Star Tours we are willing to stand there for an hour...hour and a half. Same with muppets and Soarin' (although we've always been lucky with fastpasses on that one) We are also willing to wait 45 minutes to an hour on Jungle Cruise or Pirates. 45 minutes for Haunted mansion. But we will not do a wait line longer than 15 minutes for Stitch, Snow White or Living with the Land. But for every ride we do have a limit. ::MickeyMo

Anyone else? What is your wait time limit?

45 mins, sometimes 60, is my limit. I refuse to wait OVER an hour for anything. I will just not ride something, even if it means never getting on it the whole trip, before I will wait 90 mins for anything.

30 minutes is our max, too. That's why I love getting there at rope drop and having all the big attractions done before noon. Oh, and Fastpass is our friend, too. :)

The only reason I said I would wait up to 60 mins ( but usually 45 is my limit) is because we will never make it to rope drop, I know that. So sometimes missing out on getting FP and having to wait in standby is the price we pay for liking to sleep in and that is ok with me because I know how it all works.

I have only ever missed out on getting FPs a couple of times, and when that happened I either waited, or just never went on whatever it was.

I always go week after Thanksgiving, the first week in December or October.
Slow-moderate crowd level (well, not really slow).
I will not wait more than 10-15 minutes. No way.
MK I do full park with the exception of ToonTown (my kids are 9 and 13).
Epcot, the full park including countries.
MGM-1/2 day
AK-1/2

I always follow TGM and never really wait in any lines anyway but that would/is my limit.

My poor husband is not a morning person, but both children and I am. He's *so* not happy with us on our disney trips. Next time, I'm going to offer him a morning or two to sleep in while I take the kiddos out to the parks.

30 minutes here as well. I will come back another at a later time or just skipo it, if the wait is bigger than that. I also use fast pass quite a bit. Have seen waits much longer than that, but grab a fp, come back later and basically walk right on. We always go during slow seasons.

lol poor guy!
We are a family of sleepers. Just today my 4yo and 8yo woke up at 9:10 and 9:30am. I woke up somewhere right before 9. I had to wake dh up at 10 because we had to go somewhere.
I work 2 days a week and I need to be there at 6:30am. Also during the school year I am in college and have classes 2 days a week. I need to leave the house at 6:30am to get there in time. SO all the other days, I sleep as much as I can. I am NOT a morning person and that goes double for on vacations.

I know this sounds awful and my DH thinks so too, but anything more than 20-30 mins and I'm off to find another ride. We are fortunate enough to go to WDW every year or so, so I know that we'll get to go on that ride again. I don't like standing around waiting for one thing when I know there's so much more I could be doing wit that time. We usually try to hit a ride again toward the end our day or stay if we really want to go on it. We usually travel in slower seasons so it's not an issue but this May it was busy and we tried fastpasses and I have to say that I really am not a fan of them...I like to make my way around the parks in one direction, not crossing over them to make it back to a ride for the fastpass time.

We usually wait about 30 minutes max depending on the ride. We go in september though so we usually dont wait even that long for any of the rides. :cool1:

I just wanted to say to the OP - I thought this was a really neat thread, and I hope you don't mind that I kind of stole your idea for a new thread about waiting for characters. I didn't want to hijack this one. If anyone's interested, the new thread is:http://disboards.com/showthread.php?p=20287634#post20287634 (I can't figure out how to change the words that the link displays, if anyone knows how to do that please PM me with instructions!)

20-30 minutes max. I will never wait more than that for a ride. That is why we hit the parks at rope drop, have a good touring plan and use fastpass.

Same here. For me, it also depends on how hot it is and whether the wait is inside or out, shade or sun, etc.. I'd possibly be willing to wait more than 30 minutes (but not much more) if I could wait comfortably. Fortunately, I've never had to wait any longer than about 25 minutes.

I would say 30 minutes max and that would have to be for a ride we really love. We are spoiled to fast pass. I don't see how people wait in lines for an hour plus for rides unless they only go to Disney once in a lifetime or once every few years, then I could see be willing to stand in line to see everything. DH said he could do it that those people were just relaxing in line chatting with each other. He has more patience than me.
