What is your strategy on EE days?

We are going in June, already a crowded time of the year. EE parks are much more crowded because of the early goers plus all the people who are going to that park at normal hours. Some people say go to EE parks then leave at ten or eleven o'clock when it really gets crowded and go to another park. This move takes at least an hour. If memory serves me correctly, not all the rides are open that first magic hour. What do you guys think?

Most of the more popular attractions are open for the EE crowd, so we use this time to ride/see them, often multiple times. Then we hit the lesser attractions at our leisure. I've found that crowds don't become unbearable until about 12:30 - 1 pm, but our experience is with the first week in March and mid Nov.. The March dates are considered high season. At any rate, once we've had our fill, we hop to Epcot for a late lunch, cheaper than dinner would be for a similar menu, and just kick back for a leisurely conclusion to the day. The hopping part takes 30 or less from MGM, the same from MK if you catch a monorail just right and maybe a little more from AK depending on how many others get the same idea at the same time.

I love the UG touring plans. That being said if I'm not using them I go to the back of the park and go right to the rides in Fantasyland. They are the most popular with small children.

I get most of my attraction done in two and 1/2 hours.

Have a great trip!

If we're there during slow season, we do the EMH...if we feel like it.

During busy season, I avoid EMH.

Our strategy is to find out which park has EMH that day, and avoid it like the plague. It has worked out well so far.

Totally agree:cool:

However if you like huge crowds then go to the EE park:D

Now as to the May extra evening hours experiment:cool: :) :)

We will be going for our third June trip this year. We do a little of each - some EMH and some non-EMH days.

On our EMH days, we stay at the EMH park until around noon, which is when it really starts getting hot and crowded. We have lunch, either in the EMH park or at our resort, then swim and relax at the resort for a while. Usually it rains sometime during this afternoon break - you can pretty well count on it every day in June. We head to a non-EMH park late in the afternoon or early in the evening and stay until close.

On non-EMH days, we do pretty much the same thing. We go to a park until lunch time then head back to the resort to swim and relax. We either go back to the same park or another non-EMH park for the late afternoon and evening.

It really doesn't take any time out of our schedule to leave the EMH park because in the summer you really need to get out of the heat and crowds for a little break anyway. When we went in December one year, it was actually more of a problem then to switch from the EMH park midday. We didn't need a break and the parks closed earlier so we didn't want to waste time park hopping. We ended up not using EMH very much on that trip.
