I'm in the complicated category. We're common law, lived together for almost 12 years, been together for 15 years. We're considered married by the government, etc, but according to my mom "what do I call him in my obit when I die"? I tell her she can call him whatever she wants.

I have a girlfriend. We have been talking about getting engaged/married for a few months now. She is like no other woman I have ever met. It would be nice if we were engaged by the end of next year, but I'm not going to rush it or put a time limit on anything. We have our whole lives together...I hope.
