Spiders are sort of a candy type thing. You take chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, peanuts, and the skinny chow mein noodles, all in equal amounts(depending on how many you want). Melt the chips together, add the peanuts and the chow mein noodles. Put a piece of wax paper over a cookie sheet and take a teaspoon and do little "plops" of the mixture onto the cookie sheet. Put them in the freezer for a few minutes til they harden. They are excellent, and an easy thing to make to take somewhere. You should keep them in the fridge, especially if it's really hot, or they will melt. They are called spiders because when they are plopped onto the cookie sheet, the chinese noodles sort of stick out, making them look like spiders legs. A cup of each ingredient makes about 18-24, just to give you an idea. You can also add other stuff such as mini marshmallows or raisins, but I prefer mine the original way.
