What is your specialty?

I make a mean roast beef, mashed potatoes and trimmings. Yum.

How about my beef or pork tenderloins on the grill?

And for desert, some peanut butter cookies. I love to bake but try not to. Don't need the calories around here.

I would have to say my specialty would be the most requested dishes from get togethers. They would include: sausage and peppers, deviled eggs, chocolate frosting and brownies.

People love my deep dish pizza. I also make a very good turkey lasagna (adapting the American Heart Association recipe).

My DH's best dish is homemade meatballs and garlic bread - very yummy, mine is a roast beef dinner with all the trimmings & my chilli is ok too.

I make Italian food well. Lasagna and shrimp scampi are probably my specialties.

I don't bake often, but when I do, I make a mean batch of brownies! :)

Other than that, DH is a much better cook and he does most of the cooking around here, thank goodness. :)

I cook lots of Italian foods. I love making pasta dishes. I make the best ravioli's their filled with pork, cheese and swiss chard. Even my Irish SIL's love them.

My specialty is veal or chicken marsala.

Strawberry Pretzel Salad. I have a standing request from my BIL and my nephew to always bring that to our family gatherings. Sounds awful, but its really good.

I make a great turkey dinner with all the trimmings. Also good a spaghetti. Pies are my downfall. Can't seem to get the crust to taste good. Unfortunately for my husband's waistline I am a pretty good cook.

The things I get requests for over and over are, my cheese spread, Seafood stuffed mushroom caps, lasagna, quiche, and I want to say that I can NOT make a decent chocolate chip cookie.:( I have tried and tried- they are always terrible.

Spiders are sort of a candy type thing. You take chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, peanuts, and the skinny chow mein noodles, all in equal amounts(depending on how many you want). Melt the chips together, add the peanuts and the chow mein noodles. Put a piece of wax paper over a cookie sheet and take a teaspoon and do little "plops" of the mixture onto the cookie sheet. Put them in the freezer for a few minutes til they harden. They are excellent, and an easy thing to make to take somewhere. You should keep them in the fridge, especially if it's really hot, or they will melt. They are called spiders because when they are plopped onto the cookie sheet, the chinese noodles sort of stick out, making them look like spiders legs. A cup of each ingredient makes about 18-24, just to give you an idea. You can also add other stuff such as mini marshmallows or raisins, but I prefer mine the original way.

I make a mean lasanga and a great kilbasa appetizer :)
