I have been debating since I made my ADR. We will be at WDW in october/nov and also it will be my birthday. We have worked the numbers and the DDP works well for us.

I read a lot of reviews and I chose Le Cellier for my dinner. Even though it is 2 meals. We are taking off a meal on 10/31 so we can get back to our room and get dressed for MNSSHP and trick or treating.

My question is in 10 words or less where would you eat and what meal?

I am asking because I LOVE food and can eat any where. I like fish and seafood as well as steaks, ribs. My wife is much more picky and generally eats a steak or some form of chicken. I have a 5 yo and a 7 yo that do well eating any where too. Thanks!

Not worth 2 TS credits. That is less than 10 words.

Now here is why: Basically you can get 2 meals for ~$60, when at LC you will pay ~$36-40 for an adult entree.
THERE IS NO WAY the food is that good, or the experience.

DEFINITELY NOT WORTH 2 TS CREDITS!! I totally agree with Nadjalu. I was not impressed with my meal there. I wouldnt go back even for 1 TS credit, but thats just me.

if you dont normally go to a lot of teppanyaki places back home, you might wanna try Teppan Edo. They had far better steak there than at Le Cellier, can you believe it? I ate at LC the day before Teppan, and i couldnt believe the different with the steak. So yummy at Teppan Edo. The noodles were delish. It was very entertaining too, all the kids at our table had such a great time.

We are eating a Teppan Edo, my wife loves Hibachi!! Good info, keep it coming, thanks folks.

keep in mind at Teppan I had the Filet Mignon and it was outstanding! Not sure how good their NY Striploin/Chicken combo is like. But the filet was great. And this place doesnt have fried rice, just so you know. Its traditional white sticky rice. (fried rice isnt actually part of the japanese cuisine).

Also, the green tea pudding is AMAZING! I was hesitant cause i hate green tea, but i really really loved this dessert. its kinda like a creme brulee. So good. :goodvibes

If you are going to spend 2 TS on dinner for a steak then you better go to the Yachtsman, it is a million times better

I definitely would not do Le Cellier......we did it 2 trips ago and we were thoroughly disappointed and that was when it was only 1TS- small portions, no veggie, bland looking, and tastewise nothing to write home about. There are better places to eat in WS at Epcot. I hear that Tepan Edo is good and we personally had a wonderful experience at Mexico.

We love Le Cellier, but we choose to do a late lunch for one credit instead of dinner for 2 credits. It's pretty much the same menu. I have nothing bad to say about it!

Yachtsmans has better choices of steak and much better service for the same amount of credits.

LC gets mixed reviews on these boards, while i cant justify the the 2 TS for Dinner i happen to love this place.

If i were on the DDP and not the DxDP and had to pick one meal for 1 TS for dinner in Epcot hmmmmmmmmmm.............:confused3:confused3

Teppan Edo

Le Cellier is OK, but certainly not worth it. Went there last summer for dinner and was not impressed. Food was good, but nothing special.

breakfast
crystal palace

lunch/dinner(i think these places r good for both)
the plaza
Teppon Edo!!!(the best)
hoopdeedo revue(the other best, but woth 2 credits)
chef mickeys
tutto italia
rose and crown pub
50s prime time cafe
liberty tree tavern(best at lunch)

have a great trip and happy early bday!!:):thumbsup2

I wholeheartedly agree with the PP who suggested Le Cellier for lunch. We also love LC and were sorry to see it go Signature. However, we ate lunch there in June and felt it was as good as any dinner we've ever had there and not nearly as expensive. Portion size was plenty big. We ate at 2 and didn't even need dinner.

We are eating at LC for lunch on our MNSSHP day and doing CS for dinner. If you did that you could eat at LC and somewhere else too.

I love Le Cellier, but would only use 1 credit and go for lunch. I love the cheddar cheese soup, caesar salad, and filet with mushroom risotto. For 1 table service credit we also love Tutto Italia, and Teppan Edo.
