What is your opinion of Pinocchio Village Haus?

Had lunch there last November, atmosphere was fun and we did get a seat near the window so we could watch it's a small world. Food was descent, I would go ahead and try it.

Back when they had the Pinocchio fries I'd go in there just for the fries and chocolate shake. Once they took the Pinocchio fries off the menu, I'd stop in occasionally for the anitipasta salad. Then they took that off the menu and I haven't been back. There are too many other places that serve better food, including Columbia Harbour House which is not that far away.

OT: When we were at MK earlier this month we saw a man with the most delicious looking thing I'd seen at WDW in awhile. We had to stop him just to ask what it was. It was a Chicken BLT flatbread that he'd picked up over at Golden Oak Outpost. He was walking from Frontierland over towards Liberty Square to meet his family. He said he'd seen someone else with one and had stopped them to ask where they got it, as he had to have one. We had just eaten, so was too full to try one. We were going to make a special trip over there later in the week just to get one, but for some reason never made it back over there. That thing was huge and piled high with toppings. It didn't really look like a flatbread though. It was in a box, but I saw mainly lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and bacon with some sort of white sauce drizzled over it. For just a second I though Pinocchio Village Haus had brought back the Pinocchio fries bigger and better. I was sooo excited!

We enjoy it.

We think the food is just as good as other Quick Services. And, we really enjoy the atmosphere! It's fun to get a table overlooking It's A Small World or sit upstairs on the balcony!

We ate there on our first trip and have not been back. I felt the food was below average. We much prefer Columbia Harbor House.

I'm pretty sure we had something similar to Pinocchio fries in Friar's Nook near Snow White's scary adventure a few months back. They were homemade fries with cheese, bacon and ranch. Delicous....not sure if its still open under all the construction.

It's an average quick service location. Food was middle of the road at best. Kids loved their pizza, but I found the meatball sub rather bland. There are two things I liked. #1, when you enter and its busy, they don't allow you to go save tables. This prohibits large groups of people of taking up the whole restaurant. It also made things move quick as you didn't get your food and then have to search for a place to sit. Someone would assist you and find you somewhere. The other benefit is if you get a window overlooking "it's a small world". We loved that aspect and it did keep the girls entertained.

Would I go out of my way to visit again? No. Would we do it again if we were hungry and it was right there? Sure, but we're a Cosmic Ray's family and love Sonny and his music, the vast dining area and all the options.

You know, the thing about this place is the nostalgia. That and the connection to Its a Small World. Its just old school Disney which I find pretty cool. The food is good for counter service and the theme is right on for a fantasy land restaurant. That being said, there's a number of places I'd rather eat but if you've never been, give it a try. I'm sure you'll make pleasant memories as a result.

I've had the Chicken parm twice now Sept 201 and May 2011) and it was good for QS. It does not taste like homemade but I enjoyed it both years.
