What is your most wasted qualification?

Not sure I'd call it "wasted" but I've never used my economics degree directly in any job I've had. I also have First-Aid/First-Response credentials that I'm blessedly glad to never have used in a crisis.

I got a minor in college. Thought it might look good on a resume (been asked about it occasionally) but really I was hoping to meet girls.

Now? My art training. I rarely draw anymore. I picked up my colored pencils for the first time in a couple of years two weeks ago to fulfill a request of my uncle to design some tattoos for him. It will probably be another two years before I pick them up again.

BSc in Digital Art and Technology. Thought it was going to make me so versatile, I could get into any industry that involves creatively tinkering with computers and digital art. Although in hindsight, I thought it was a wise decision given that there was a recession at the time, I learned the hard way, and instead, I found myself working in a warehouse, which I still do. However, my eye for detail has proven to be very useful, and I'm currently receiving training to become an ESR for my department.

Stenography; it's not used anymore. As a result, my skill isn't as sharp as it once was.

I am not sure it is "wasted", more like "unused". I have a masters degree in education and I work in banking. It's kind of funny how where I work we have two other former teachers, but also we have seen people leave our department to become teachers. I guess the "grass is greener" :confused3

Maybe it is an age thing, those of us who used to teach are 40+, and those who left us to teach are mid 20's.
