What is your least favorite theme park?

We always visit all four parks when we go, but if we absolutely had to skip one, for me it would be MGM. DS would be really mad though because Star Tours is one of his favorites, and DD loves Fantasmic.

Every time I am at MGM, I am reminded of the first time I visited, shortly after the park opened, and it was so crowded and hot.

I like them all but I would say MGM - we usually go to go on TT and RNR - I can't stand The Great Movie Ride!! :lmao:
Ditto. Dh and I feel the same.

Animal kingdom animal kingdom...animal kingdom...pathways are too small...rides are ok...seems like a zoo with rides...themed nicely but again by about halfway through the day people are sweaty, deodorant needing, and the walkways are just too small...it is Disney however, thus respect is deserved...EE looks pretty darn cool

Just got back this week.

Used to be Epcot, MK, AK, MGM.

Disney is going soooooo slow with keeping Epcot updated, I think its slipping.
AK is nice, but I agree, walk-ways are tooo small for the crowds. I also think other zoos have done better than AK with the "conservation watch" and petty area. My 13yo said, "our little zoo back home has as many animals as Disney." We couldn't think of any unique animal that Disney had, that our zoo doesn't have. Because of the Lion King Show, it earns high marks. MGM is not even on our list.

So, as of our trip last week . . . . . favorite to least favorite

MK, Epcot, AK, .......... MGM

My least favorite would be MGM. Epcot is my favorite, and MK & AK are closely tied for second. (If I had to pick, AK would probably be 2nd favorite, and MK 3rd)

least fav. = Animal Kingdom -- the only things we really liked (we've been 2x) were the Festival of the Lion King and the Kilimanjaro Safaris. It's not even a 1/2 day park for us.

Next would be MGM. For us its only a 1/2 day park. We do it our first day there (cause we only have about 1/2 day anyway) and plan to ride just what we miss last time then leave.

Epcot and MK are our two favorites. The kids love MK best and my husband loves Epcot best. Epcot needs more new countries. They seem to have been updating Future World these last few years and that needs to continue, but the World Showcase doesn't showcase very much of the world and the exhibits at the pavilions could use a face lift too.

I guess for me MK is #1. Mostly because of the sheer joy on my children's faces and the great memories I have of visiting as a child.

I don't really have a least favorite park. I love them all for different reasons, and my ranking of them changes every year. I hated Epcot when we went in 1993 (I was 9), and we skipped it in 1996. Went back in 1998 and have fallen more and more in love with it since then (especially after this trip where I made my first visit to Alfredo's and had my first taste of Norway's school bread-- YUM! :cloud9: ). AK was my favorite behind MK the first couple years it opened, but after awhile, it slipped. I still love it though. Epcot, MGM, and AK all appeal to me for different reasons, so they're kind of tied for 2nd. But ever since I was a little girl and first went there, MK has always and will always have my heart. :lovestruc

Animal Kingdom. I can see why they put Expedition Everest in it. It needed something as exciting as a rollercoaster to draw a crowd.

Least favorite to favorite:

MK, MGM, AK, EPCOT :thumbsup2

But I do love them all. Some just more than others. :stir:

Ok i love them all but i suppose if i had to choose (which is exceptionally difficult) id have to go with AK, my family can easily spend 5 days in MK or epcot, 3 in MGM but only feel we have to go once to AK to feel we have "done" everything (havent been on EE yet though...maybe that will change?)

Listed from favorite to least favorite:

MK
AK
Epcot
MGM

I think MGM has some of the best thrill rides but I am not fond of the theming and it really needs some updating. Like a pp said, how many times can one person see the Indiana Jones show?

I actually LOVE AK! It is my second favorite park because I love animals. I love the Tree of Life and I think it is the best "centerpiece" in all the parks. I could spend hours looking for all the animals. I just hope they add another land onto the park eventually.

MK - will always be my fav because it is the original WDW theme park and the most magical...even for the biggest of kids!!!!
Epcot - 2nd in line, just because!
AK - Takes 3rd, love he safari and Kali, plus it is just great how they incorporated animals into WDW without having a zoo!!
MGM - Last place for me, just because I have a limited amount of things that I really love there. Don't get me wrong, I still like MGM, just not as much as the other 3 parks.

I do love all things Disney, so I can't go wrong w/ any park. I will always be the person that buys park hopper passes b/c I never spend a whole day in one park. I think part of the fun is hopping from one park to another!

Fav ot least fav......

MK- it is classic and I love it here
Epcot- interesting, love World Show Case
AK- Every time we go I find something new that I did not know was there
MGM- Love it also, I just think it needs to be updated.

MK

MGM (am getting tired of Indiana Jones show)

Epcot

AK (of course, I haven't ridden Everest yet!)

As for the lesser attractions, Disney Quest is over-rated & over-crowded (does FL have fire/occupancy codes they actually enforce?)

Although I love them all, if I had to rank them from favorite to least it would be MK, AK, Epcot, MGM.

Disney World Wisher - You said that from what you read you wont dont think you will enjoy Animak Kingdom very much..... Personally, I think it is unfortunate that the AK gets such a hard time. It really is a beautiful park, but its different and requires an entirely different approach than the others. I really think that it has a lot to offer, but unlike the other parks it is more subtle and unfolds slowly. There are ton of things to see and do there. Visually, it is incredible.

I hope you have a wonderful trip and find all of the parks to be fun.

Animal Kingdom. We are were by 9 and out by 1:00. We felt like it was almost like the zoo back home.

if it wasnt for RnR and ToT and star tours i dont think we woud ever go there for the other attractions. My Dw and DS#1 arent trill type ride fans but DS#2 and myself are so unfortunatly MGM is a half day park for us. we have done all the shows and i did enjoy Fantasmic i do not think i would go to MGM just to see it again. we enjoyed all the resturants we have eaten at so after riding the essentials in the A.M. off to lunch and then to another park.

Mk is the place for us. i could spend the better part of the day just walking around there.
Ak IMHO is the most misunderstood theme park. we just love to spend great amounts of time here. will spend more time here with the addition of EE.
Epcot is also a great place to spend a whole day with the best food offerings for my family
