What is your last work day of the year?

I am counting down the days until the 21st. I go back the 2nd. Most of the people in my office are done the 15th but I am one of the newest so I am working an extra week.

My wife is done the 15th and also goes back the 2nd.

My last day of classes is Thursday when I am giving two exams. I will spend the weekend grading and then will be done until 16th January when the spring semester starts. I cannot wait.

My work is project based and we have year end "freeze" this Friday 12/15. So even though I'm "working" next week, there won't be much "work" and I'll be multi tasking with home stuff. I go back online on the 27 & 28 (freeze still on), then off again until 1/8.

I don't really call it work but I do find myself volunteering at the shelter much more often during the holidays so that the people with families will be able to spend time celebrating together. I'd just be sitting at home alone so it's a nice change of pace to come in and spend time with and care for the animals. Gives everyone else a much needed break and a great time can be had by all.

Technically, two days after Thanksgiving, since I had hit the use it or lose it threshhold on my vacation time. However, I'm a department of one person managing an essential function, so I've been working an average of 3 hours a day since then anyway.
