what is your idea of summer?

Going to sleep late.
Sleeping in late.
Doing nothing except eat rice, go to parties, and go on vacation..

Ralph's Italian Ices
I'm pretty sure this is only a New York thing and it's HUGE on Long Island...but it's basically this amazing ice/ice cream store that's only open from like April until October and it's amazing. If you are EVER in New York during those months...HUNT ONE DOWN. I swear it's an addiction.

Absolutely nothing.
Planning what I'll be doing in a year or two.
Planning my next summer so it doesn't end up like this.

Basically all I do is talk to a friend until 2 in the morning.
Go to sleep, wake up, watch TV, & get on the computer.
I don't even have to work...becuase I'm too young to find a job here.
How boring.

Packing and shopping and orientations for me.

my idea of summer:

staying up late, sleeping in, getting grounded for being bad, going to our beach house, boogie boarding, swimming, hanging out with friends, and most of all... having fun!!!

For me Summer is traveling. It's track camp and volleyball workouts. It's Movie Day Fridays with my best friends (minus 4 because they're all not in-state and/or live on the other end of the state). It's staying up so late it's early and watching the sun set while Ben (my neighbor) sets off fireworks trying to decide which ones to buy for the 4th of July. It's getting ready for France in 2 weeks. It's booking the December trip to WDW. It's Luigi's Italian Ice- Lemon flavoured, of course. It's summer reading in the airchair below the deck. It's opening the windows and the doors and letting the light shine in. It's the Solstice and the most fun I've had all year (except for the Inaugural Movie Day Friday...cuz John was there). It's having my license for the first summer. It's not having enough money to pay for gas. It's swimming in the river and calling up friends to join me. It's playing Pokemon until my head wants to explode.
