What is your future baby's name?

I am due in 9 weeks and will be having a girl.

We have it narrowed down to Audrey and Hadley but for the life of us can not decide and have no idea for middle names.

If we are lucky enough to have a boy in the future, he will be Dylan Gregory.

I love the name Grace so if I had a girl I would name her Grace Diane after my mom.

We have a Brenden Patrick and I agree that Patrick goes with everything. :)

For boys names I like Colin and Aiden. I also like Ian but that's my BIL's name and I wouldn't name a child after him. :p

My little nephews name is Rage

Wow..that really is unique. See at my age...I am enjoying this Thread as I see all these new and different names. :)

Harper for my girl, and Jacob for my boy. Don't know why, they just stuck in my head a few years ago... DH will just have to like them. :)

Boy = John William Jr "Jack" or Joseph
I have always loved both the names William and Joseph, and wanted to name my first son William Graham, but when DH2B DS was expecting twins she chose the names William and Joseph. I was so sad..... luckily she changed Joseph to Robert, so I only lost the name William as an option.

Girl = Adelaide (Addy), Piper and Noelle

Not pregnant or even trying, but DH and I have actually already agreed on a future boy's first name. No middle name chosen, but I'd like to use my father's name. As for a girl, I'm sure a lot of people would expect me to use my mother's name as she's deceased. However, my mom hated her name, so I wouldn't want to do that. We spent our honeymoon in Hawaii, and I love a lot of those names--especially the shorter ones. There are some Hawaiian names that are very long!

No kids in my future BUT if I had given birth to another boy or girl here's what their names would have been. A girl - Caitlyn Rose A boy - Cameron Scott

Shelby (I already have a Noah and a Becca)

A girl - Caitlyn Rose

My DD was going to be KateLyn Rose but I kept running into little Caitlyn's while I was pregnant. So, she is Adriana Rose. As for future kids...We are leaning towards Nicholas David for a boy and Peyton Jeanne for a girl. I really like Hudson or Jackson for a boy but DH has vetoed both.

Sometimes a baby is born and the parents are set on one name, but then they look at the baby and think something else. Two of my nieces were like that. The first one was going to be Kirsten, we called her that in the womb but when she was born they decided she looked like a Daisy. And a Daisy she is. I can't imagine her being anything but Daisy. The other one was Mackenzie, until she was born and then it was decided she is Madeleine or Maddy. She also fits her name. I guess sometimes you just have to go with what fits best!

That daughter I'll never have is Rebecca. Becky for short. I love traditional names.

If we have another boy, I kind of want to name him Lawerence after an uncle of mine.

I know that if I get pregnant again, there is a strong chance I could have a girl. DH likes the name Rebecca, while I favor Melissa (because that's the name Barry Manilow mentions in 'Could This Be The Magic At Last?').

TOV

I hope to be blessed with children in the future but I don't have any right now. My girls names are Emma, Morgan and Chloe (after my great-grandma). I also like Ainsley. For a boy, he will be named Robert after my dad. Other boys names I like are Aiden and Landon.

My mom taught for over 30 years and I think she will veto a lot of names, so who knows what I will actually end up with.

We are still in the discussion phase for kids (probably be another year or so) but think we've both agreed that we like Reagan for a girl and Noah for a boy ...lots of little Reagan’s running around so I’m trying to get him to warm up to Arabella...

Wendy, I just saw your tag....That is great. My DH is known as Wonka. Most guys he works with don't know his real name. I have been dubbed "Mrs. Wonka". :cool1:

We're not trying yet, but I like Brenna Margaret and Grace Elizabeth for girls. One of DH's fraternity brothers just had a little girl and named her Delaney. I liked that one too.

As for boys, I have no clue.

DH and I have had a boy name and a girl name picked out forever. Our boy was to be Matthew Elijah (he would be called Elijah) and our girl was to be Elizabeth Fay.

Well, we're adopting from China and have chosen a completely different name for our little Princess...her name will be Dorissa Fay! (We plan to use some part of her given Chinese name as a 2nd middle name) Dorissa is a compromise...lol...I wanted a name that ends with -issa while DH wanted to honor his grandmother, Doris. Fay is my mom's middle name...I was given her mom's middle name when I was born and I want to carry on that tradition...

My good friend's name is Debbie and her DH is Kevin so they named their daughter DEVIN. Awesome combo of Debbie and Kevin!!

Daughter #2 is Morgan which is Deb's maiden name! I think that is so neat when parents incorporate their names somehow into their children's names.

And about the poster that mentioned picking out names and then changing the name...my parents actually named me Caroline and I was Caroline for 3 months when they thought that was too long as my maiden name was very long...and so they changed it to Karen!!! :lmao:

Hi Mrs. Wonka .. that is so funny…..
I'm a wonka girl....lots of love for the tag fairy

If we were to have yet another boy, we'd name it Jack. Like that name and it's a family name like my other three sons. :)

I was suppose to have a girl and name it Elizabeth since I am Elizabeth III but it obviously didn't work that way......maybe a granddaughter some day will carry on the name. :thumbsup2

I would want to name my first born after my grandmother so I'm always on the lookout for new B names. Right now I like Brynn for a girl and Brent for a boy.

Hypothetical baby #2 would be named Riley whether it was a boy or a girl.
