What is your future baby's name?

I always liked the name Stevie for a girl. My sister is a huge fan of Stevie Nicks, so I had to grow up hearing that name a lot. :rotfl: Is that going to be short for Stephanie? Just curious. :)

Actually, she is being named for my father.....the greatest man I have ever known ( besides my hubby ;) ), Stephen. :)

I'm a little partial to that name too. ;) :teeth:

My girls names are way too popular now : Isabella/Izabella Sophia and Ava
My boys names are :Benjamin Issac and Charles Hampton.

We are pretty sure though if we have a boy his name will be Charles Hampton: Charles is my father and Hampton is his. His nickname will be "Champ". My father who has alzheimers, end stage, started calling my husband "Champ: and its just an endearing name for him. So, our precious future baby will be known as "Champ". Hope thats not too weird...but with all the bizaree names...shouldn't be.

I didn't realize at the time we named DD, but all 4 of her great-grandmas have Dorothy as part of their names. In hindsight, I wish we had used that for her and called her Dory.

So, if we ever have more kids (not planning on it) they'll be:

Dorothy Teresa and
Joseph Kelley

No, I wouldn't name a son after me...Kelley is my mom's maiden name.

My boy name will be Isaiah Matthew and I am not sure about a girls name since I already have two and I refuse to have another girl. But if it happens I like the name Lola. alot of people tell me that is a stripper name. I would have to buy the name book if I was ever pregnant with a girl

If we have another boy, I would love Tait (or Tate) William. Or I may give in and do Theodore, as dh has begged for that with both our kids.

DD was just named Elleanna Rose, after my paternal grandma ClarabELLE, my mn Ann, and my maternal grandma Rose.

If we have another girl I want to try to honor dh's grandma's: Carolyn and Helena. SO not sure yet what that would be. Caroline Helena??

Aww....that's my baby's name - Liam Patrick! :cloud9:

Here's a pic of him from this past summer:

Picture006.jpg

Crankyshank - I love the name Violet - or Viola.

OT, but Liam is getting so cute!!

If i ever have a baby girl, i know that her middle name will be Elizabeth--That was my aunts middle name, she died in 1998

Well, some of you might have seen my post on getting pregnant again...4 moths after our son was just born!

So this thread is right up my alley, considering we weren't even THINKING of names!

Right now for a girl I love Makena Grace, but since DS is the only one in our family with a non "M" name, we'll probably avoid the M again to even it out a bit. Not sure about any other girl names...

For boys we will surely have a disagreement. We did last time. I like Jackson, Parker and Connor, and DH likes Carter.

We are done as well, but I always thought if we were lucky enough to have another I would like Benjamin for a boy and Brynne for a girl, the middle name would be Michael for both in honor of our son we lost.

We don't have kids yet, but the names are already picked out. We are using family names: Wilfred for a boy, Margaret for a girl.

I guess we won't be able to get creative unless we have either 2 boys or 2 girls.

Charlie - either way. Charlotte for a girl and Charles for a boy.

I also like Meghan and Connor.

Alexander Paul There are no Alexanders and Paul is my DFIL's name and Franchesca Simone because I love Frank Sinatra and Nina Simone.

If we are forunate enough to be blessed with more children, we have the name Ariel Elizabeth picked out for a girl. (Elizabeth is Macy's middle name. So, she'd be named after her big sissy.) I also like the name Violet (but Dh vetoed it, so that's my American Girl doll's name. lol), Marissa, and Erin. Though one of dh's friends just named his daughter Erin, and it's so close to Ariel anyway...

Ya'll are giving me some great suggestions! We find out in 20 days who is this child jumping on my bladder :)

Right now, our list is as follows:

Joseph (Joe) (most likely)
Charles (Charlie)
Matthew
Ryan (my fave, but Joseph has a lot more meaing to us.)

Josephine (Josie)
Chloe
Noelle
Natalie

I love Avery, Violet, and Margaret, but DH nixed em.

Awww.....Thanks Jen :)

JunieJay - Patrick is a great middle name - it really fits nicely with everything. I love the name Drew Patrick!

My oldest son's name is Kevin Joseph.

I think we're done having kids, but I loved the name Kelly for a girl - that would be my dream name for a girl.

(as you can see i'm very partial to Irish names :goodvibes )

Oooh, I love Noelle. When I was pregnant with Drew my due date was Christmas Eve and I actually considered both Noelle for a girl or Noel for a boy. DH was receptive to Noelle for a girl, but did nix Noel for a boy.

My niece is MaKena Leigh. I absolutely LOVE that name. Of course my sister had to spell it differently (I never can remember how to spell it, it makes her so mad :teeth:.

For me, Cayden or Jack (in that order) for boys and no idea for girls. I was kinda hoping that MaKena was a boy so I could steal that name. No such luck.

Spencer was always our favorite boy name but as you can see from my name & siggie, it's still sitting on the shelf. :teeth: I like Aidan a lot too.

We are done but if I had another girl, I love the name Finley Faith (yes Angie Harmon's child's name) but DH doesn't. We tend to lean towards somewhat unusual and strong feminine names. We love last names as first names (2 of our girls are named Keaton and Parker).
