What is your future baby's name?

My niece is MaKena Leigh. I absolutely LOVE that name. Of course my sister had to spell it differently (I never can remember how to spell it, it makes her so mad :teeth:.

For me, Cayden or Jack (in that order) for boys and no idea for girls. I was kinda hoping that MaKena was a boy so I could steal that name. No such luck.

We actually thoguht of Makena because it's a beach that we love on Maui.

And Cayden is our sons name!!!!

Great minds think alike. :thumbsup2

I'm another one who is done, however if either of my DSs had been girls they would have been Kylie Ariel. With my second I was torn betwen Colton and Dylan, but went with Colton. So, if I needed another boy name it would probably be Dylan.

If we have another girl, her name will be Sarah Katherine. If it's a boy, Andrew Calvert (family names on DH's side). I also love the name Ashlyn, but it just doesn't fit well with our last name.

We have some names picked out for this baby. We are 99% set that if the baby is a boy his name is Alexander Stephen.

For a girl my DH Really like Emma, but I am not 100% sold. I like the name and think it is very pretty and has a bit of an old fashion flare to it, but I am worried it is too popular right now. Emma Margaret would be her full name.

We also LOVE the name Allie but feel like we would need to make it a nickname for a full name and can't agree on the full name. Same with Ella.

Actually, she is being named for my father.....the greatest man I have ever known ( besides my hubby ;) ), Stephen. :)

Awww, that's really nice. :) My boyfriend's name is Stephen...I may have to steal your idea if we ever have a girl. ;) No matter what though, a boy's middle name will be Anthony after my dad...also the greatest man I have ever known. ;)

Well, DS is Ian Patrick. Also in the running for him were:

Aiden
Duncan
Liam
Connor

So far, he's the only Ian in our town, in his grade level. We obviously were leaning towards Celtic names, as I married into a HUGE Italian family, and most names already had 2 or more people already using those names.

We're done as well, but if I were to have another boy, I think we would go with Liam.

Since my brother and SIL used our 1st runner girl name, were our mythical daughter to appear, she would probably be Aisling Elisabeth.

I have a little story about the name Alexander Stephen. :teeth: When DH was born, this was supposed to be his name. His mother didn't know she was having twins and so DH was first and he was Alexander and his twin brother got the name Stephen. Neither one got middle names. At that point, MIL discovered she now had FOUR boys instead of the three kids she'd planned on and I think she was tired of picking out boys' names. :lmao:

I'm all done too :sad2: , but if I had another little boy I would name him Conrad Lennon, if I had a girl I love Isabelle Lennon.

I'm blessed with two little boys..
Noah and Maxwell

We are for sure done, but some of the names we had on our "list" when I was pregnant were Nolan for a boy, Danielle for a girl.

Oooh, I want to play!

If I have a little girl one day, I would want to name her Audrey. I like Clare or Rose for a middle name.

If I have a little boy one day, I would want to name him Henry. I like Neil or Charles for a middle name.

I also love the names Ella, Margaret, Julia, Isobel, Sawyer, Dominic, hmmm, I need to start a notebook because I have forgotten some...

For a girl, I like the name Vivian Kathleen. I just have always loved the name Vivian, and I think Vivi is a cute nickname. Kathleen is my great-grandmother's, grandmother's, and mothers middle name so I want to go with that tradition. I also like the name Violet. Actually, I like alot of girls names but those are my two favorites!!

For a boys name I like either Benjamin or Dominic. The middle name would be Lee because that is my husband and his grandfather's middle name.

Chase Alexander for a Boy and then Sage for a girl.Havent thought of a name to go with it.
My little nephews name is Rage so we want something to go with that.

WOW...I just read all 4 pages of replies and no one has mentioned my two sons names at all...Christopher Brett and Michael Patrick!

I guess those two (and once very popular) names are on the way out.

My Mom and my Sis are both named HELEN and I noticed that in a few of the replies and LOVE that so much. That must be making a turn around as is the likes of Margaret and Katherine as well as Caroline.

I also love Grace. Not sure if I saw that name mentioned. My DS's DGF's name is DIANA..that is just so pretty and I did not see that at all!!!

Very interesting Thread, OP!

BTW: I am done, no more kiddos for me...I am waiting on the grandkiddos. :teeth:

DH and I have had names picked out for a few years, but I just don't think a baby is in the cards. Anyhow, if we are blessed at some point I still love these names we picked and think we'd still use them. My ds is Travis James- he was almost Austin but it got too popular when he was born (13 yrs ago).

Girl: Either Amelia Margaret or Margaret Gracie- and we'd call her Maggie. The Margaret is for dh's deceased grandmother he has the highest regards for. I always like Lily or Lillian for the longest time. DH didn't and now my cousin has a little girl named Lillianna so I wouldn't use that name.

Boy: Nathan Christopher

I work for a peditrician and we had a new baby named Raena come in the other day (pronounced Rain-a). I really like that and thought it was pretty.

I am done also but if I had another girl her name would be Athena. No sure for a boy...

Katherine for a girl
I like Christian for a boy but who knows what we would end up with.

I can't even get my husband to discuss this yet! He wants to wait until we know if the baby is a boy or girl.

I like Joshua, Jacob, Michael, or Matthew for boys, and Kate, Emily, Elizabeth, or Sarah for girls. Who knows what we'll end up with, though

Jen

Good question. I want one more baby and hopefully soon...

DH mentioned once that he likes the name Julia for a girl. He also said he likes Brynn. I like Brynn too so maybe that would be it. A boy might be Rylan or Rilley...but I always have problems choosing boys names...

My little princess is named Sage Elise so I am quite partial to that name! :thumbsup2
