What is your favourite Yankee Candle?

Just had to hop on this thread - I'm a manager for YC - so ask away if there's anything you need to know. Someone mentioned Tulip - long gone, haven't seen it in awhile, even at the outlets. Sunwashed Linen was just discontinued too, one of my faves. It's still in outlets though. Try the new Egyptian Cotton as a replacement for Sunwashed Linen - it's actaully stronger than SL. We had a soy line a few years back but it didn't sell well enough to continue it. We do get a lot of requests for it though, and we do pass along those requests, so keep looking for it. I'm off to work right now - just got the ScentStories units & disks in the store, and the new portable fan units - so neat!

I have so many favorites but I have to say Macintosh Apple is my all-time fave. Loved Roasted Coffee too but that's only in the flagship stores anymore. (I did drive from PA to MASS in Dec. to stock up on it!!) Sweet Strawberry, Balsam & Cedar, Clean Cotton & Sunwashed Linen are close seconds. The new Egyptian cotton too...and the new Water Garden...ok I must stop now....

If you like Home Sweet Home you'd probably really love Festival of Lights that is only offered around Christmas now. I also like the Sugar Cookie type scents.

I don't really have a favorite I love so many, so i'll just tell you what I have in the house right now:
Black Cherry
Honeydew Melon
Manadarin Cranberry
Vanilla Lime
Spring Bouquet
Sweet Strawberry
Vanilla Caramel
Cottage Breeze

I always buy Spiced Pumpkin in the fall and Hollyberry and CHristmas Wreath and Christmas Cookie for Christmastime.
I always have Clean Cotton for the spring/summer, too.
Home Sweet Home is one I buy throughout the year, too.

I love the Christmas Wreath and the Harvest scents right now. I am not sure they make a bad scent.

I bought one that smelled like suntan lotion-OMG it was so strong I actually threw it out after trying it a few times, it made everyone in the house gag. LOL
I think it was Sun and Sand.
It smelled divine in the jar though, loved it.

I really am concerned with the health risks......I have started buying Votivo soy candles & Soybeans.

Christmas Wreath and Balsam & Cedar. We burn these year round - just love the evergreen scents!

I like most of the fruity scents, Macintosh Apple is my fav, a close second is the melon one, I can't think of the name...I really don't like the spice scents, Home Sweet Home, Pumkin Pie Spice, any of those really bother me...the flowery ones are ok.

Here is just one site with info. I work in health care and we have been receiving so much negative information it is scary & that is what caused me to switch to soy.

Surprised no one mentioned Lemon Lavender. I also love Clean Cotton, Spiced Pumpkin, Fall Festival, and Lilac. These scents seem to be stronger than some of the others-you can smell my Lilac outside in the summer when I have the windows open. Someone mentioned Festival of Lights. I loved that, but I didn't see it this year. Oh, and I really wish they'd bring back Storm Watch. I don't get it. I remember seeing in the catalog a few years back that it was a "best seller", so why the heck did they discontinue it?

There's no way I could pick just one! A discontinued one stands out for me, though--Christmas Wish. I loved Storm Watch, too--found it at discount about a year ago and bought them out.
I bring the Sun and Sand plug in to WDW each time we go.

My favorite but it's dicontinued was Mom's Apple Pie. Now I like any that are cinnamon, vanilla, and any of the fall scents mostly pumkin spice. We actually got pumpkin spice today at Bed Bath and Beyond. We like getting YC's there if we don't have a coupon for the YC store because we always have a 20% off coupon for BBB.

My all time favorite was discontinued long ago.. Captain Black. I've even been in stores and asked about it and no one remembers it, I guess it was supposed to smell like captain black pipe tobacco. It was a masculine scent.. kind of like cherries and musk. I wish they would bring it back!

I really like Vanilla Lime.

My old standby is Macintosh, it's just good anytime! In the winter I like Christmas Wreath and Mistletoe and Jack Frost (which is as close as I can get to my old fave, Peppermint Swirl). I also love Autumn Harvest.

My mother loved Sweet Melon, but it has been discontinued. I found one in a Cracker Barrel a little while ago and bought it for her, but they are nowhere to be found now.

Storm Watch was one of my faves too. They bring it back now & then online & in the catalog as a "Back By Popular Demand" scent. We did a Back By Popular Demand event in our store last year & they brought back 5 faves, and one was Storm Watch. Amazingly, we couldn't sell it! Off to the outlet it went...

Festival of Lights was retired but they did ship 24 jars to certain stores this year around the holidays. We got in 24 jars & shipped about 10 to the outlets. It's not a great seller for us.

Hey there fellow YCC employee! What store are you in? Did you get your portable fan units & Scent Stories in this week? We only got 4 SS units in & sold 3 today. I knew they'd fly!
