What is your favourite dining experiences.....

Our favourites are
MK LTT for table service ....nice traditional food and good character interaction --- CHH for counter service ......quiet and great sandwiches
Epcot Although only counter service our favourite has to be Le Tangierine Cafe .....fab food and healthy...the sort of stuff we eat at home
MGM Not found one we really rate
AK Again yet to find one we rate.
Elsewhere in the World Jikos...the best restaurant on site in our view with superb service and a very nice ambience.

Great thread Kaylee!

My Favourites are:

MK - CP, I love the desserts and seeing Tigger too! I also like Pinocchio Village Haus for counter service!

AK - Rainforest Cafe, I love the Hong kong stir fry and volcano desserts - yumm!

Epcot - nine dragons was my favourite until I tried the Teppanyaki - the food was great and the chef was amazing it was really entertaining!

MGM - Have never had table service here but we like the ABC commissary - the curry and rice is yummy!

My overall new favourite restaurant is Narcoossees, we ate here for the first time on our last trip and we loved it. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was great. We timed it just right too as we saw the fireworks from MVMCP and the electric water pagent!

All this talk of food is making me hungry
:)

MK-has to be CP.Mum has to follow a difficult diet due to her health-no meat and very little protein. This was the only place i've seen her stuff herself on all the different desserts!

AK-Breakfastosaurus wins for me.Loved the breakfast buffet-yummy pancakes.

EPCOT-Garden grill.I know it's another character meal, but again was suitable for mum as they brought us loads of veg and a lovely tomato broth. Also the warm bread and honey butter was amazing.

MGM-I'm ashamed to say i don't think we have eaten here, although plan to try sci fi diner next trip.

MK - Crystal Palace
MGM - Starring Rolls
AK - Tusker House
Epcot - Le Cellier

Our best meals on property have been at Jiko`s and Artists Point- both absolutely wonderful :thumbsup2
Best bargain - hot tea at the Writer`s Stop - 70 cents.

Crystal palace - I love the atmosphere here, plus we always do breakfast there on our first day.
Starring Rolls - great sandwiches, cakes and lattes here.
Tusker House - the chicken is wonderful, plus they will substitute the mash for steak fries which is great if you have a yearning for proper chips!
Le Cellier - we`ve eaten here 4 times now and it is still good though not as good as a few years ago. Steaks are great.

Jiko - I had the best entree ever here, fillet with macaroni cheese. It was to die for.
Artists Point - beautiful restaurant and the cedar plank salmon is fantastic.

Although there are many and varied offerings at WDW we have on each of our 3 visits found it difficult (and quite stressful) to find one restaurant that will provide something for everyone in my family (and there are only 4 of us!). Each time we find somewhere that suits we discover the menu has been radically changed by our next visit. So all our choices end up being a compromise to reduce stress rather than for our favourite food. (The food courts at All Stars Resorts suited us perfectly.)

MK - Columbia Harbour House (although DD won't eat anything other than fries here)
MGM - Sci-Fi Dine In. I have had 2 really enjoyable meals here and one awful one where it was so busy we had 2 stangers sat in the back seat of our car. But on the whole a relaxing time with the kids entertained by the films.
Epcot - We've only done fast food here. Liberty Inn slightly beats Electric Umbrella but both have very "iffy" offerings after 6pm.
AK- Pizzafari. Always found plenty of table space. DD very keen on pizzas but won't eat the crusts however she loves the dough sticks here.
DTD - Rainforest Cafe. Sitting at an outside table was the nicest meal we had anywhere on our last trip.

The best meal at a resort was Whispering Canyon Cafe despite DS cringing at the waitress's act.
The best breakfast was at 1900 Park fare. Excellant choice of very fresh food and plenty of visits from characters.

Here are mine:-

Magic Kingdom - It has to be Cinderella's Royal Table. The food is not the greatest on property but nothing beats the atmosphere in the castle.

MGM - Brown Derby. Nothing nicer than sitting outside on the patio enjoying a leisurely lunch over 1/2 bottle of champagne.

Animal Kingdom - Donald's Restonosaurus. Excellent way to start the day in AK. Food is lovely and all of the characters as well. If you get a nice early ADR, you are all finished by the time the park is ready to open.

Epcot - Le Cellier. Love the Cheddar Cheese soup and the atmosphere in this restaurant is another reason why we return every trip.

MK: love Crystal Palace breakfast for all the yummy fresh hot food and brilliant character interaction, I always try and go for 8am though so I'm out in the park before it opens, its so quiet and peaceful and pretty at this time

MGM: really enjoyed the food at 50's Prime Time, loved the pot roast and great family atmosphere

EPCOT: Yakitori House in Japan has the yummiest counter service, you can get sushi or a fantastic combo platter, the smell is heavenly and you can sit outside in the midst of the Japaneese gardens, I feel like I am in another world, not a theme park at all.

AK: Tusker House for the great chicken salad or rotisserie chicken, which I take by the Dawa Bar and watch the african dancers, and get a pina colada with my lunch.

RESORTS: a hard one this but I still like Ohana for breakfast or dinner, great for kids with all the activities, the pineapple bread with breakfast is fantastic and the music parade with Lilo and Stitch is so fun, at night the great view over the lagoon and all the wonderful food being brought to me, combined with the beautiful Polynesian.
Also love Bluezoo in the Dolphin, a very trendy upscale restaurant, my favourite date-night restaurant, great cocktails and seafood, outstanding service, and you can step just outside and watch Illuminations from the boat dock area before having a wander round Epcot area, makes a really good night out.
