My 15 y/o is a vegetarian and she's pretty much tried most of the veggie sandwiches & burgers on the past couple of trips :rotfl: can anyone recommend something different that she might enjoy ? she has had pizza & pasta too, just wondering if there's anything out there she might be missing :confused3

Thanks !

I'm a meatatarian, so my favorite is the salad at Garden Grill. :rotfl2:

It actually is very good, though. Best and freshest salad at WDW.

In all seriousness, try the Vegetable Couscous at Restaurant Marrakesh
at Epcot in Morrocco.

I'm not a vegetarian but I think these were listed on allears as vegetarian (please check!) - I tend to stay away from CS mystery meat....

The Vegetarian Platter (might be called Vegetable Platter) at Tangierine Cafe in Morocco in WS in Epcot....tabouleh, hummus, bread, lentil salad, marinated olives & couscous - VERY light & refreshing...

And the Vegetable Platter in Sunshine Seasons in The Land Pavilion (by Soarin) - this was very light & tasty...lo mein, white rice & steamed veggies...

She might want to try any of these:

Tony's Town Square offers several options there like a veggie calzone and an eggplant lasagna.

Rose and Crown has a vegetable curry.

Tangeriene Cafe has a delish veggie platter with hummus, couscous, lentil, salad, marinated olives, and bread.

Sci-Fi has a mango tofu plate, if she likes tofu.

Golden Oak Outpost has a vegetable flatbread wrap, which is different.

Columbia Harbour House has vegetarian chili and a hummus and broccoli slaw sandwich.

Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station also has a tofu and rice meal.

Sunshine Seasons offers many, many different options including an Asian platter.

50's Prime Time Diner has a roasted red pepper that sounds delish!

Thats all I can think of now, but here is a link to allears that shows the options at each restaurant and counter service.

Good luck! :thumbsup2

The veggie chilli at Columbia Harbour House is great. I also really enjoyed the veggie plate at Sunshine Seasons(see the pic above). That was really nice and filling.:thumbsup2

The veggie options are also great at Wolfgang Puck Express at DTD.:cloud9:

May I suggest a Vegetarian risotto? It makes a great dinner entree, and you can always throw in some extra vegetables, if you prefer. Vegetarian risotto recipes could be creamy, cheesy and could be a hit with your kid as well.

Here's a recipe:

Ingredients:

* 3 tbsp olive oil
* 8 cups vegetable broth
* 2 cups arborio rice
* salt and pepper to taste
* 2/3 cup freshly grated parmesan

Preparation:
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and add the arborio rice. Stirring constantly, allow the rice to cook for 3 to 4 minutes.

Add about a half cup of the vegetable broth to the rice, stirring frequently. When most of the liquid has absorbed, add another half cup of broth. Continue adding broth, a bit at a time, until the rice is done cooking, about 20 minutes.

Remove from heat and stir in the parmesan until it has thoroughly melted. Add salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle with additional cheese if desired.

Oh yes most buffets on Disney, especially Boma, are one of the best places to dine. I can't believe I forgot that!:headache:

found out that every rest. will help you with your choice. hoop de doo had a great one. disney will try hard for you.

Did you ever try the Mediterranean Vegetable foccasia melt at Wolfgang PucK Express? It's my FAVORITE CS meal at Disney. I don't know if I can bring myself to ordering something different!
