What is your favorite Pampered Chef item?

I really love their stuff! I have:

The batter bowls
Several Stones
Garlic press
Whisk
1 rubber spatula
Cheese Grater
All 3 scoops
Small Microwave cooker
Food Chopper
Timer (I love this because I can clip it on my shirt and go garden, or go upstairs and make beds.....etc.)

There are more things- but I can't think of them! I went to a party Tuesday and booked a show, I am going to buy the cookware for half price!

I'm waiting for an order to come in from my biology professor. :teeth: I think it's her sister-in-law that sells it. I ordered the food chopper, timer, and something else. Maybe it's another spreader because I just love it! :teeth:

The smooth edge can opener is really fantastic. It cuts on the outside of the can, doesn't penetrate into the food - so no groos guck on the can opener- and it has this little teeth grabber on the side to grab the lid once you have cut it. The edges of the can are smooth so

1. You or anyone else will not cut themselves. Think the jagged edges that come with using most can openers. This canopener will not do that.
Wow! Maybe I should justify buying it as saving a lot of money! It should be cheaper than the time I pushed the garbage down with my hand and cut my palm on the edge of a lid! OUCH! I was in the ER for stitches on that one. Yes, the can opener is cheaper than a visit to the ER.

LOL! This was how I became a PartyLite Consultant. They had some scented candles that I LOVE! I had to support my habit. :teeth:

If you haven't tried cooking (in the oven) bacon on your bar pan stone....do it now! It is great!!! No mess with splattering or turning. I'm sure it would be great on the big cookie sheet type stone (the one with the edge) too but I only have the small bar pan. Also, the small whisk is great if you are trying to mix any kind of powder with liquid.

Cinders,

Mine cracked too. The foam soap dispensers are useless, although I know others haven't had trouble. For the small ticket items, it's not worth paying to send it back and that's IF you can find your receipt. The pizza cutter is too dull, don't like it.
I do like the measuring spoons.

I'm not a big cook, so bought all the smaller items just to buy at a friend's party.

You need your receipt to return? :( That doesn't sound right. It's not like you can buy this stuff at JC Penney or anywhere else.

I think my favorites are:

The large pizza stone--use it for baking biscuits--they turn out great!

The mini spatula

And no one has mentioned the Kitchen Spritzer.(I think that's what it's called!) I love it! It's great to use instead of Pam on the stoneware.

"The foam soap dispensers are useless"

I learned at a party the other night that some of these were recalled a couple of years ago because they were defective.

and the reason they need the receipts is not everything has a long term guarantee......certain things with different time.......some are lifetime and some are two or three years.....that is the reason for having your paper work....just looked on one of my slips and it says two years on the easy decorator.....

My NEW favorite is the "4-Piece Colander/Bowl Set"!!!
I think I use it daily.
In fact I am eating some potato salad right now that came from one of the bowls in the fridge.
It stacks, it has 2 colanders & 2 bowls, one small and one large. You can rinse a huge thing of salad and set it in the bigger bowl to drain.
It also will drain large pots of spaghetti, noodles.

Can you tell I love this set?
:p

I like my sandwich maker thing. Don't know it's name, but it makes uncrustables. Way better than paying $2.50 for 4 of them at the store!

Wow! What a response to this thread!

I forgot to add a few items that I have, the corn cob holders, the egg slicer, the thing that you can use to decorate cakes or make deviled eggs with and..... I am sure there is more, I just can't remember.

Anyway, I am almost done with my order, glad to see you all love this stuff too.

I love the spatulas (mini and regular) and the scoops. My large spatula has separted from the handle, and I've tried to glue it back together, but it doesn't stay.....

I also love the small bar pan...my large flat stone could stand to be "forgotten" in the oven and maybe start all over with the seasoning process.... :o

I love the pizza stone and the rectangular stone...also LOVE the 9x13 stone baking dish...use that *all* the time. I have lots of PC items (we had a PC shower when we got married) but I use the stones, batter bowls, and scrapers most often. In fact, I used the skinny scraper so much that is has finally fallen apart (after five years). DH found part of it in his Rice Krispy Treats the other day. :p

My pizza stone is BLACK it is so well seasoned lol.

I leave it in the oven if Im only using one shelf because I was told it helps to even out the temperature.

IF you can find your receipt.

At the first show I went to the consultant suggested everyone place their receipts under their silverware organizers in the silverware drawer. This way they can always be found and it only gets moved when you clean out your drawers.

Hmmmmm With all the interest in PC maybe we need to find a Disney lovin consultant and have a DIS PC party.
;)

I am here if anyone needs anything, that is if it's legal to do here. Would be happy to entertain any questions anyone might have and share some new recipes.

By the way, if you haven't been to The Pampered Chef website, May is Help Whip Cancer month and there are some pink products that are available only in the month of May. When these products are sold, money is donated to the American Cancer Society's breast cancer early detection and education programs. You can see the pink products on the front page of the website.

ok first dont laugh~ my favorite item is the BAMBOO tongs, i use them constantly, removing bagels and english muffins from the toaster has never been so easy. I own a ton of stones and all the gadgets and bowls, love all three scoops and the thermometer, I made the bacon on the stones and although there was no mess the bacon was way too greasy YUck.tasted like all the grease just sat on the top and soaked in. I go to a ton of these parties and the best was when I bought all the cheaper items, when My order came in I had tons of things to play with. Have fun.
