What is your favorite/least favorite chain restaurant?

Favs----- I LOVE McDonalds, Chick Fil A, Publix(they make the best subs and fried chicken)
Least liked---- Burger King, Olive Garden

I agree Publix makes amazing fried chicken! Best we have had and we live in the south where many restaurants pride themselves on their chicken.

I love Buca di Beppo. Unfortunately, the closest one to me is about an hour away, in an area we don't really have any other reason to go to...so we only go maybe once or twice a year.

Olive Garden--it seems to really vary by location. Sometimes I've had a really yummy, satisfying meal there. Other times (different location) it's been awful.

My least favorite is Applebees. We only go there if there is literally no other choice...I think the last time was about 3 years ago when we were on a road trip and were in the middle of nowhere and our only choices were Applebees, or snacks like chips and candy from the gas station convenience store!

I love Applebees! It's not my favorite, but I'm surprised by how many people hate it. And I think they have a huge menu

My favorite fast food chain is easily Chick-Fil-A. My favorite non-fast food chain is Famous Dave's.

Honestly, I like food in general. I like local restaurants, I like chain restaurants, I like fast food restaurants, I like some of the food at the local grocery stores, I like it when I cook and I like it when my friends cook...

My least favorite place is easily Red Lobster (although I love the cheddar biscuits). I don't like seafood, and I can't stand the smell of seafood... and it smells like a fish tank in there. So I refuse to go. But it has nothing to do with the quality of the food. I'm sure if I liked seafood and could handle the smell, I'd like Red Lobster.

* TGIF used to be good, but then they changed their cheese broccoli soup and it is horrible. Yes, it only takes one bad menu item to ruin the whole thing for me!

* Denny's would probably be good, but they are in all the bad neighborhoods near us.

I see I am not alone in my least favorite: Applebees. I walked out of one 10 years ago and have boycotted them ever since.

Favorite: Mimi's Cafe; Cheesecake Factory.

I'd say of the ones I've been to in the last year or so my least favorite is P.F.Changs. They don't have anything under 100 calories with the max recommended sodium and loaded with fat. Probably my most favorite is Ruby Tuesdays.

We go to Applebees a lot because DD really likes it and DH and I find it ok. I'm surprised so many people dislike it that much. I can think of many worse places.
