I am trying to lesson my caffeine. I have switched to decaf coffee in the am but it is time consuming / expensive to stop at DD’s every morning. I was going to try instant Decaf or Decaf tea just for the fact that it’s less time consuming. What are your thoughts?

TIA

:disrocks::thanks:

Buy a coffee maker? I can't imagine going out for coffee daily or drinking instant.

Although there are the Folger's Brew Bags that are pretty darn good. It is like coffee in a tea bag.

As far as giving up the caffeine, good luck with that. I love my morning coffee but I need to quit drinking it period.:sad2:

Thanks! I should have already said that we have a coffee maker, however, DH is the main coffee drinker and not ready to jump on the "no caffeine" band wagon yet. I’m thinking that it is a good thing that we do it one at a time anyway!

Thanks for the luck. So far so good!;)

I tried that last year. Yea, DH did not go for it.:rolleyes:

I would just go ahead and get another coffee maker. They are so cheap anyway.

I am trying to switch to green tea. I love the loose brands. I can't even drink the stuff in the bags anymore. I have been spoiled.

I jusr bought the Bigelow Assorted Herb teas box last night. I am having the Pomegranate Piazz Right now it is ok I would like it better as Ice Tea I think. Had the Orange & Spice last night which was great. I got a Keurig for Christmas & I am drinking too much coffee;)

The Starbucks "instant" Via comes in decaf and is good. Right now I'm liking Twinings decaf English Breakfast tea.

Get a Keurig (lots of decafs and teas to choose from) and you can use your regular blends in the my Kcup insert. That way you can both brew what you like. I prefer flavored and DH likes a regular morning blend so we are both happy. It only takes seconds to brew a cup with no cross contamination. We are not huge coffee drinkers (1 cup a day mostly) but it sure is a lot cheaper than Dunkin Donuts/Starbucks/Wawa (convenience store with good coffee bar).

thanks for the great suggestions! I have been thinking aobut the keurig too!

Twinings makes a nice decaf Earl Grey.
