I agree! There's something about it that's hauntingly elegant and beautiful.
There's also a lot to look at in this scene. I didn't even notice the Civil War era portraits shooting at each other until 2 trips ago. And the ghost blowing out candles on the cake is awesome. There's so much detail throughout the entire ride though that I'm sure I'm missing a lot. The attic scene would have been my second choice.

I chose the ballroom. Mostly because when I was a CP I took a backstage tour of HM and got to sit in one of the chairs down there and really poke around the whole area.

Although one of my most favorite parts is when the ghost hitchhikes. Last time the ghost put his head on my husband's shoulder. I thought it was funny.

Man, that was a tough choice! I finally went with the ballroom over the graveyard. But the Conservatory was my first memory of HM from "The Wonderful World of Disney" TV show.
