I'm on the hunt, after mine was discontinued :headache: and can you please give a description of your skin type (dry, oily, sensitive, fair, etc.......) Thanks

Normal skin, but I'm 41 so I stopped wearing liquid because it catches in the creases and makes creases look like wrinkles. These days I really like Bare Minerals, I use a Q-tip with concealer for little imperfections then dust on the base, then use a light dusting of bronzer because my skin tone doesn't work with the base color alone and I'm done. It's not heavy, you can still see the natural pinkness in my cheeks, I like it because the end result has a very natural feel to it. If you have a Sephora near you then you can ask for a makeover & try it & other stuff.

I will def. check this one out, how do you think it would be with sensitive, dry, ghostly white skin :rotfl:

No, no, no my dear, what you mean to say is porcelain skin that is delicate like fine china;)

My skin is healthy but delicate and will get angry in a hurry if it's not happy with what I put on it. This particular product does not cause rashes or bumps for me. I went and had them apply the makeup and waited 2 days to see if I'd get a reaction before going back to buy it. I'd suggest only allowing them to put one product on at a time so you'll know if you are ok with whatever they are putting on you. If they layer creams & lotions you'll never know what it was that bothered you if you get a reaction.

Have fun picking stuff out, I LOVE those high end makeup stores

I love Loreal. It's like bare minerals. ( Probably $10-$12) Don't have the exact name handy, but it's easy to spot at any drug store, Walmart, etc. Goes on so light! I am very fair also. I use the lightest ivory shade. It has spf of 19, but I do use a moisturizer first, and then a light brush of pale pink blush over my face.
Call your local drugstore, some let you return for a new shade, if the first isn't right. Keep your receipt.

I'm very fair with combination skin. I really love MAC products for foundation and concealer. I have had hormonal acne issues for about 10 years and have tried everything out there for great, breathable skin products that also cover. Finally found MAC and I'll probably never switch. They have a great foundation finder tool online:

Are you talking about L'Oreal loose powder, or liquid foundation?

I use a combination of Bare Minerals powders and Everyday minerals, depending on sales of each. I get my Bare Minerals on ebay now that I know which colors to get (medium for me). I do like the everyday minerals, but watch their blushers. They are darker than what is shown on the website.

My skin is sensitive and I use Lancome Teint Idole Ultra.

I have sensitive skin and use Physicians Formula Oraganic Liquid foundation. It is nice and light and does not aggrevate my skin.

I have fair, sensitive smin that tends to go red in my midface. With fair skin, it takes a LOT of product to cover that redness with Bare Minerals and it takes some time. I have to use the bisque concealer over my midface, foundation, and then the mineral veil over top. I find that women with darker skin tones don't have to go through as much effort. I switched to a line called Too Faced about a month ago and so far I am really happy. I use the liquid concealer in the tube with the powder foundation. I cannot stand liquid foundation on my face. I apply the concealer on the spots that need it. Some days I don't use the concealer at all. I could never do that with Bare Minerals.

I have combination skin. M t-zone can is def. more oily than the rest of my face but it's not horrible. My skin is also sensitive but I rarely break out.
I tried Bare Minerals (can't remember the colors) and I loved how natural it looked on my face. Unfortunately I turned out to be allergic to mineral make up and had to switch to a liquid foundation.

For my t-zone, before putting on foundation I apply Clinique's pore minimizer instant perfecter and it helps control the shine there.
I like to use Mac's Face and Body foundation because it is really sheer. I don't need alot of foundation and I don't like to feel like I'm wearing a mask.
This foundation helps to even out my skin tone and leaves me with a nice dewy finish. It is a bit buildable for when I'm having a skin problem day.

During the summer or when I want to spice things up a bit,, I finish off the foundation with Nars' Laguna bronzer.

It's no fun when your fave products get discontinued, I hope you find a suitable foundation!

In the summer/spring i use MAC Select
http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/shaded/158/471/Select-SPF-15-Foundation/index.tmpl

It's water based so it goes on lighter and isn't as heavy. Still gives great coverage.

In the Winter and Fall I use Studio Tech
http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/shaded/158/373/Studio-Tech/index.tmpl

It's a little heaver on the skin but the coverage is flawless and application is amazing.

I have SUPER Sensitive and combination skin. Nose and forehead oily cheeks dry. Acne problems during Aunt Flows visit.

Answering Debknight's question.
I looked at the container. It's called L'Oreal Bare Naturale, gentle mineral makeup. It has a clear top, and you can see the fluffy application brush on top. Hope that helps.
