We are making our last trip to Disney for spring break with our 18 year old senior son and daughter this March. It is sad to think it could possibly be our last family breakfast at Kona Cafe......hopefully not. We have been going there at least once a year since they were 5 years old. Thankfully we adopted a beautiful baby boy last year. He will be 2 in January and has had Tonga Toast twice already. We are looking forward to carrying on the tradition for many years with the newest love of our life! Just curious to hear some other family traditions at Disney?

DH and I always have breakfast on our first "full day" and we have Kona on our last morning :)

Our last lunch right before we head for home is Liberty Tree Tavern.

All the times we have been to Disney, we have never been to the Liberty Tree Tavern....we are going to have to make a point of it!

meant to say that we have breakfast at Crystal Palace - that's what happens when I post from my iPhone I guess :)

Every year since they were four, we have taken our kids to the Whispering Canyon Cafe - now that my youngest (only daughter) is 17, we are starting new tradition of going to tea at the Grand Floridian. The boys are in their 20s and don't live at home or vacation with us every time, but, we will still do WCC if we ever all go together though!

For our Christmas trip, we check out of BLT on Xmas Eve. Head over to Kona at the Poly and have one of the last ADRs for breakfast. Tonga toast with bacon for hubby and DS 22, fruit plate for me, and macadamia pancakes for DS 25! We open the ornaments during breakfast that the grandparents have sent. A special time!

We really don't have any traditions. I met DBF when his kids were teens/late teens, and letting go of the childhood traditions they had had. (He had been divorced for a decade at that point.)

DBF and I still go with the kids every October, and they are in their early/mid twenties.

We go to Kona Cafe on Father's day. We wear our Christmas hats when we go during the Christmas season. Also, we like to eat at the table over looking the ordering station in the Cloumbia House in MK.

Hope you can continue with traditions since the 2 year old...needs some for him. I have two favorite traditions....Candlelight Processional at Epcot and Fireworks at Epcot. Both were created over the years with my DH and children at times....and shared with DB on many occasions. Continued Disney Dream for you and yours in years to come!

Love it! My wife and DD always split a fruit plate and a Tonga toast, DS has the Big Kahuna, I go with the Samoan, and we get an extra Tonga toast for the baby.... and of coarse a french press pot of coffee since the Kona Cafe is one of the only places at Disney to get a good cup.

There hasn't been one restaurant that we have been to for every trip, although Kona would be a good one. The inadvertent tradition we have is to stop at the Okahumpka exit off the Florida turnpike. :lmao:

I buy a few pins each year that are significant of our trip that year. So, if there was a new ride the dds tried, a new resort we stayed, etc, I bring then home and put them on bulletin board. Just another reminder of the magic.

Closing out our last night with Wishes! Even if we see it earlier in the trip, we always see it again on the last night we're there.

That's one of ours too! We always make a trip to Ghirardellis at DTD and everyone buys a pin for the trip then we watch whatever stage show is going on.

My honeymoon was at Wilderness Lodge. We've not been able to afford a return stay, but my wife and I always have an adults only dinner at Artists Point.

We do a lot of the same things every trip, and eat at mostly the same restaurants, while still trying to add new experiences each time too. I usually buy a pin from the resort we stayed at. The only thing I can think of that we've done EVERY trip is to go to Basin at Downtown Disney and wash our hands with that amazing salt/sugar scrub! Even my husband loves it! I never buy it though because it is so expensive!

We always have our picture taken with the little mermaid in front of BCV even if we are staying else wear.

DW and I have been every year since '93, during the first two weeks of Dec. This is her birthday and our yearly chance to enjoy the holiday decorations/lights/etc for ourselves.
