what is your favorite dish at le cellier.. appetizers, main course, dessert??

Appetizer: Cheese Soup and lots of pretzel bread
Entree: Filet with Mushroom Risotto
Dessert : Kid's Chocolate Moose!

I loved the chees soup
dh had the cheese platter(he thought it would be cheese cubes obviously never been to this web sit.) I didn't correct him though because I wanted to try it. I loved two out of the 3 cheeses. I did not care for the one with olive.

I loved the mushroom filet

dessert I had the maple creme brule and enjoyed it. I had never had creme brule before so I was not sure what to expect.
My ds's got the smores and did not care for them they were just a little to hard for them to eat. My dd got the kids steak and ended up sharing our filets she and my husband said hers was really bad.

No apps here since that bread is soooo good!

DH and I always get the NY strip (or maybe it's the sirloin...it's whatever is first on the menu of entrees) over frisee with the veal demi-glace, yukon gold potatoes with grape tomatoes and roasted garlic. Exquisite!

Never had dessert there, since we're usually stuffed after dinner. Plus, with France right around the corner, if we want something sweet a few hours later, we head over for some pastry :)

Appetizer - Pretzel bread sticks, cheese soup
Entree - Mushroom filet with risotto
Dessert - never had room yet -but want to try the sampler platter!

Appetizer: Wasabi shrimp
Entree: Surf-n-turf
Dessert: Sorbet

Le Cellier is fabulous!

I couldn't believe how good Le Cellier was! There were 8 of us for dinner and we all loved it!

I had the shrimp for an appetizer (so good, and the presentation is great), the Mushroom Filet (very good!) and then for dessert, I had the Chocolate Moose. All were amazing, I'd eat there tonite if I could!

My kids had the steak on a stick appetizer which was good (they ate every bit of it) and then hot dogs for dinner (which were ok). They had the sorbet (loved it) and the smore (didn't get to eat it, she fell asleep, lol).

Overall, this dinner was excellent, service was excellent, everyone was happy!

The Tomato Stack is a wonderful appetizer, but only if you like tomatoes of course. You can add a Lobster Tail to any entree for about twelve bucks, which is a really good deal... well worth it.
Have fun.

Cheddar cheese soup for an appetizer, the mushroom filet with cream cheese mashed potatos for the main course and the maple creme brulee for dessert. When can I get back to EPCOT for dinner?

Toss-up bewteen the cheese soup and the shrimp cocktail
Mushroom Fillet
Creme Brulee
And you can't forget the ice wine martini!!!

DD and I just ate there for the first time Monday night. I can't objectively have a favorite but this is what we had: the cheese soup was very very good. The tomato stack was excellent. Ditto the pretzel bread. We split the maple BBQ filet and cream cheese mashed potatoes. Again, most excellent and more than enough for the two of us. I do wish though that we had gone with DD's choice of the squash risotto because she is an adventurous eater and was drooling over the thought of it and we went with the safer choice, beef. We got the dessert sampler. The creme brulee was out of this world!!!!! and the raspberry sorbet was the best I have ever had. The cake was good as well. I can't wait to eat there again!

We are going for the first time in October...two questions...

1. Does the cheese soup have a beer taste to it? I *love potato and cheese soup...but I do not care for the taste of beer.

2. Has anyone asked to substitute the risotta on the mushroom filet for the cream cheese mashed potatoes? My dd would prefer those!

Thanks! :thanks:
the cheese soup was very oniony to me and little beer taste, but mainly too much of an onion taste.
yes yo can substitute the mashed potatoes
the 12 oz sirloin was tender and cooke to perfection, as were the potatoes. yum.
filet was also great. shrimp app was to die for
club cake was wonderful and i do not like choclate( just tasted my sons) also choc. mouse was great and wonderful to look at great presentation.

we tend to skip appetisers, we just cannot make room for them, although previously we have had the beef and barley soup and the cheddar cheese soup and both were scrummy.

Entrees, DH has the NY strip and yukon potatoes and I opt for the filet with cream cheese mash. DD had a burger Desserts DH had the whiskey cake which he says was yummy, I had the cobbler, wow!! and DD had ice cream.

This is by far the best meal we had on site and intend doing it 3 times on this upcoming trip ... now where are my bigger shorts!!!!

to edit my earlier post the kabobs app was also very good acording to my picky DS who had to be bribed to try it. he loved it which is saying alot because he doesn't like anything. he even wanted to order another one. The rest will let you substitute and negate items. My son got the filet with no sauce no risotto just meat and the mashed potatoes
