In our house the undisputed champion of board games is MONOPOLY...we have the regular version, Deluxe and Disney...I actually contemplated getting the NHL version when I was at Madison Square Garden last week...took my DS to his first NY Rangers game. It was cool some of the "player" pieces were the hockey stick, puck, net, Zamboni. It was made using the "Original Six" hockey teams from when the NHL first came to be. Sometime we double up the boards to make them more interesting, you can "cut across the middle" or do the complete lap (usually it depends which route offers you more safety from the high rents.
We have the best time when we have "Win. Lose, or Draw" parties!
We have 3 different sets of cards, "Win, Lose, or Draw", "Pictionary", and "Picture This."
We use erasable markers on a big erasable bulletin board on an easel.
Sometimes people say they don't want to play but they always end up joining in.
It's really a blast!
I think I'm going to start planning the next party!
