What is your favorite adhesive?

To piggy pack off of the cutting thread. What is your favorite, glue, tape, flavored bubble gum

Yum favorite gum...Teaberry! and actually I just love Hubba bubba bubble gum but I don't think my teeth do!

I really like my hermix tape runner but I have my eye on the CM tape runner too....may have to get one next time.

I like the Hermafix repetitional dots. They come in a refillable dispenser. They are a bit pricey, but they can be picked up and moved for several days before they become permanent. When I am doing a mosaic I put it on the back of the photo before I cut it apart. Then it's just peel and stick.

I also like the transparent half squares. When you are using some of the lighter colors in some of the specialty papers, sometimes the white squares will show through.

I have used several other products but have found that in just about every situation I can use either of these.

As for gum. It's Extra...polarice

I like the CM photo splits... they do leave all those little squares but I am happy with the way they hold... I like the xyron too, but I get glue blobs sometimes

As for gum, I don't chew it!

My first choice is CM tape runner, with my xyron 150 for tiny pieces a close second.

It depends!!

I use Herma splits on photos, so much better than those millions of pieces of blue paper from the CM splits!!

I started off with the Herma Dots, and could make do with that, and use it a lot when I'm "not sure" which is most of the time!!

In the UK I think the Herma products are about the only ones that are better priced than US, as they're made in Germany (I think) CM are more expensive

I cannot live without my Sailor Glue Pen for all the little and fiddly bits. It seems easier than my Xyron 150.

hermafix hands down for most construction jobs. My next to favorite is the tried and true ROSS STICK glue stick, nontoxic,photo safe,acid free,and washable!!! and you can get them at Sam's club bundled in boxes of 18 at a time!!!!dries fast and clear.

CM Tape Runner is first....then CM photo tape (just discovered this..wow)

I've used Zig 2 way glue for tiny bits...but now that I'm getting better at getting single strips off the tape runner I'm using it less. I may try the photo tape for little things now that I've discovered it!

I can't stand splits! (confession....lol..not supposed to say that as a consultant!)

No gum for me!

I used to swear by the old CM tape runner. It was all I ever used. But the new style keeps gumming up on me. Does everybody else's do that or did I just get a bad one? Or sometimes it won't let the stickies off the backing. It's been pretty frustrating. I always liked how small they were and that you could use just a few in small places, like on letters and die cuts. I like the hermafix but it gets all over when I try to do those small spaces.
