What is your engagement ring like?

I have a beautiful heart shaped diamond my DH picked out himself with absolutely no input from me. Not sure how big it is, but I think it looks good on my finger—not tiny but not really big either. I love the ring so much I opted for very plain, cheap gold bands for my wedding ring. It is actually two gold bands. Typically I wear the engagement ring between the gold bands, sometimes I stack the two bands with the engagement ring on top.
