I'm just wondering what the educational background is on these boards?

I'm a doctor of mixology.
What is that? A bartender?
Yes, that's what it is but not what I am. I was being snarky because I'm not fond of braggy threads.
Who's bragging? I was just wondering what the educational demographic is on here. Education doesn't make someone better or worse than another. A bit defensive, are we?????
Not defensive at all, as I have absolutely no reason to be. I've been here forever and have never felt the need to compare educational statuses.
I don't feel the need to broadcast my achievements.
I have a high school diploma.
I graduated in 1975 and back then it wasn't 100% necessary to go to college in order to get a decent job. Not many of my friends went on to college. I never had the desire to go.
DH didn't go to college either. He farmed with his Dad when he was in high school, and we got married in September 1975, after we both graduated from high school in June, and we started buying half the farming business/farm equipment, etc.
I voted other - I have a J.D.
What's a J.D.?
I went to a technical school for medical assisting. Did go to 2 yrs at a university before I dropped out.![]()
What's a J.D.?
What's a J.D.?

Juris Doctor... a law degree.
I voted other - I have a J.D.
Thanks! Just out of curiosity, do you get a J.D. from a law school right after your bachelors or do you have to get a bachelors, masters, then a J.D.?
Me too.
You do not have to have a masters to get a J.D. Law school can come right after obtaining a bachelors in college.
We are not allowed to be called "Doctor" except as an attorney in an academic setting.
