What is your def. of a poser?

I hear this all the time: "OMG! They're such a poser" I don't think I've ever been called it directly, but I'm very curious as to how someone is considered a "poser". What is your definition of a poser?

Someone trying to be someone besides what they really are. I've gotten called it a couple times because i wore some 'extreme' clothes before and people think of me as a dork sort of person *cry* lol. It doesn't bother me that much because i just wear what i want and don't care what other people think.

ok well this is an example of my kind of poser....this one kid wears abercrombie one day then dc shoes the other day (and I don't even care) but he calls other people posers which really bugs me so ya...

hey i wear DCs and i don't skate, but that doesn't mean I'm a poser. I've always liked skating shoes.

---thats kinda what he does, lol....I don't care what people wear, but he calls like everyone else posers and makes fun of them for their clothes...so thats why he's one...i guess...idk, i don't really care about the whole poser thing

im not even gonna go into what i think is a poser...i agree with whoever said this thread is trouble. but i will say one thing. people can listen to whatever music they want and dress however they want but if u wear a band shirt, LISTEN TO THE BAND AT LEAST!

oh! jeez im sry i wasnt talking to u. i was just talking in general.

im just saying all my friends rag on these few girls that dress like they call em "GC girls" cuz they used to love them and they always make fun of them now that they like hardcore. and its really stupid cuz they are all the nicest girls ever. and it makes me mad that they make fun of them all the time.
