I worry alot. I understand that others do also. But about what?

What do you worry about more than anything else? This is an open message board, tell us all about what you worry about.

The health and welfare of my husband and children.

Losing another person I love. My mom passed away in July 2004. I told my family no one else is allowed to die before me....lol

My son being in daycare, I think. I think that daycare/preschool is a VERY good thing for children, but I worry that he isn't getting the care I want him to. Nothing against the center - just that he's not with mom, you know?

Next would have to be money. It runs the world, doesn't it? Never seem to have enough. Just enough to pay bills...

I am a gold medal worrier, also...I worry about everything....especially the welfare of my family. I wish I could stop and be more carefree like my sibs are about life.

Right at this moment, I am worried about my marriage. Life is full of ups and downs and we are definitely in the downs right now.

My more normal personal worry is about the health and welfare of my family.

DH says I'm not happy unless I'm worried about something and my personal theme song should be "Only Happy When it Rains" by Garbage :rotfl2:

That said my primary worries are DH's health, our financial situation, our dogs, and currently our house burning down while we're on vacation next week.

That is EXACTLY what I was thinking - but you said it much more succinctly!

I don't worry about much. i'm one of those people who assumes that somehow everything is gonna be all right(I know you hate me,haha). I just have faith that some way, some how we'll come out on top.

The two things I worry about most are my mentally handicapped DS10 Christian and DH48, who has severe heart/lung disease. Mostly I just try not to think about it, because i just get bogged down and next thing you know I'm having a big pity party. Better to not entertain worries on a frequent basis. But they are never far from my thoughts.

I worry to the extreame. Right now I'm worried that the employee my DH let go today is going to come back and shoot up the place. Or that the employee or his wife will call my house tonight. I'm also worried that my dad's plane will crash.

So I guess Snoopy summed it up. The health and well being of my family.

My dad.....he has lots of cardiovascular problems and has had over 20 surgeries. I worry that I won't be able to give him a grandchild while he's alive. I'm really trying, but we're having so many problems conceiving that I worry it won't happen in time.

If that happens, it'll also be my biggest regret in life. But, that's another thread. :)

Not to hijack this thread, but this did happen to us. We had a hard time with the whole "having babies" business. It took many years and unfortunately my DH father passed away suddenly about 9 months before we got pregnant. :guilty: He would have been a wonderful grandfather, too. But we have kept his memory alive so well, you'd think my kids(I have three!) actually knew him. Best of luck to you. I hope it happens quickly for you.

Cathy--infertile with the best of them and still ended up with 3 kids. :earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsboy:

I'm such a worrier that when there is absolutely NOTHING to worry about I worry that I'm missing/overlooking something to worry about. :teeth:

Thank you so much....that gives me hope and that's hard to come by some days. :)

I also worry about my fertility and whether or not I'll even be able to afford a child, especially with the daycare costs being so high.

I am a worry wart!

You name it, I worry about it. Right now I'm worried about my DS who is in Boston attending his first year of college. He seems to be doing fine but I still worry, so does DH.
I'm also worried about DH who has to have surgery this week.

That my ADHD sons medicine is giving him horrible canker sores and that we may have to take him off of it. Then what?

I worry that I won't be considered a good mother because I'll have to continue working.

This one hits home for me too ! I am a mom of an 11 year old girl and a have a baby due in Feb. I will take maternity leave but will have to go back to work too. It does not make you a bad mother, you know that. But I know sometimes friends/family..etc...do not see it the same way.
I am the only one in our family with a child that works full time...so I understand completely!

I worry that people on open message boards are either writing a book about everything I say or that I will someday be the topic of a very interesting case study paper ........ :guilty:
