I thought it might be nice to compile a thread of our single favourite things about Disneyland Paris. Maybe it will even provide some inspiration for some new ideas for upcoming trips?

My favourite thing is walking down Main St during EMH with the music playing and low crowds, weather slightly cool and thinking about how lucky and happy I am to be there.

What's yours?

Love this :thumbsup2 Me too, I love just being there

I love the view from the Dumbos during EMH with beautiful blue sky all around me :) - there are so many more of course.....

My favourite thing is walking in the main park for the first time every trip, gazing at the castle, take a deep breath, soak in the magic... And letting my heart skip a beat :lovestruc

Its Main St USA for me too! The smells, the decor, the music, getting a cuddle from Duffy and the atmosphere! Its all just perfect - I think I could spend days just browsing the shops and eating fresh cookies or ice cream from The Gibson Girl and sitting outside Casey's watching the world go by and listening to the lovely music and sounds of the buildings.

Just one thing.... Hard!!
Probably the parades, the interaction from walking characters and the music and the feeling of excitement building as you hear the music coming!
I'm such a child, but I love them! Random meets also good, but rare!

First it's walking through the turnstiles and down Main Street and getting that first glimpse of the castle :cloud9:

then it's walking into Frontierland and taking in the vista of Big Thunder Mountain and Phantom Manor :cloud9:

and then walking on until we get to Adventureland and see Skull Rock and Captain Hook's galleon :cloud9:

..... how on earth am I going to manage without my Disney fix this year???!!!!! :confused3 :scared: :headache:

spinning in a teacup in the evening with the chinese lanterns all it up in the ceiling above me :goodvibes closely followed by BTM in the dark.

I might have to cheat and add another one..
That time of day when it's just getting dark and all the lights start to come on, my aim to ride BTM when it's like this, but the best thing to do is go up to the Main St station and look down on to the castle.

Just asked my sister and she says just before a parade starts and the music begins, and you can stand and sing to the music whilst waiting for the floats to appear!

My friend, Beth, says hers is going straight to ride Peter Pan in the morning. That and breakfast!

Its so difficult to choose! But I think one of my favourites is going on BTM when I'm starting to flag towards the end of the day. Its so exhilarating that it perks me up and I'm ready to go again.

So diffucult to chose! But it would have to be seeing the beautifully lit castle in the dusk from the top of Big Thunder a Mountain :)) after 17 trips it's still never fails to take my breath away :)

Visiting at Christmas time!!!! So magical. They really go all out, I love the 'snow' in main st. The first time I went away with my boyfriend we went at Christmas time and stayed at sequoia lodge. Now 4 dlp trips and 4 wdw trips later it must ve really made an impression on us!!

Oh wow..... one? (Piggy back ALL the ones above - the smells, the shops, the surprises EVERY trip - anyone heard the guy waking up and having a shower near Plaza Gardens?? I hadn't until the last trip!)

At the moment it HAS to be seeing DLP through the eyes of my 4 year old. The interaction with characters, whether it's meet and greets or the AMAZING parade, where she sees them all as completely real. Or whether its the castle (and dragon) itself where every evening before Dreams when she can see a flickering light in one of the windows as it's getting dark, we have a discussion about it being Sleeping Beauty's bedroom and wondering what she's doing!

C x

I have - it's funny isn't it!

It's soooo hard to choose just one thing but I'm going to go for all the different sounds....the "Welcome" you hear going through the turnstiles, the train whistle, the howling coyotes in Frontierland, the sound of BTM as it goes up the hill, the tick tock of the small world clock...I could go on!

Oh, and Pirates!
