What is you dream number of points?

My dream is to own 500 points. We are over half way there right now. We just did are first add on. I want 500 so we can enjoy longer stays and do a cruise here and there. Both our girls are under 3 so a 1 bedroom works good know but when they get older I would perfer a 2 bedroom.

I would love to have 600. We have 350 points now but 350 more would give us 2 weeks a year in WDW. As a family of 6 we always need the 2 bedroom unit.

DH & I are working toward 500 to 600. Not a firm number yet. About half the way there, but the economy is making it harder to justify another purchase anytime soon.

It's not so much "what's the dream number of points", but rather "dream amount of vacation time we can get from work".

The more vacation time, the more points needed...

I'd say enough for 2 seven nights stays (one at Mardi Gras, one at Christmas time) in a GV each trip.

I think that's like 34 points a year, or something.

I do think that DH will be satisfied at 1000. (We are at 855 now, with no plans for an add on.) One of the nicest gestures that has been offered to us was over the weekend, our DS/DDiL offered to buy us 25 points at our choice of resorts as an anniversary present.

Ditto for me! I accure 5 weeks, but using it all is another story. We're at 220 points now, definitely not enough. DH says it would be enough if I left all the extended family home.

I can't wait to add on at the VGC. Now if I could just decide how many points I need/want at the VGC!

We have 170 points now and I'd really like to have 170 more points. Then I'd have enough for a 5 day trip every Sept (mommy get away), and a trip every summer with the family. I'm saving up for an add on.
