What is WRONG with people?!?

This makes me SOO mad I can't even tell you. It is also personal because this is the great organization my Tucker came from. Do these people have no conscience?!

On the news tonight:

Late on the night of August 29, thieves stole the Humane Society of Lewisville's trailer. Police officers found the trailer the next day, but it had been vandalized and all of its contents, including dog and cat cages, were missing. The total loss is close to $4,000. This severely affects our ability to hold Adopt-A-Pet events as we have lost most of the cages and tables we use at those events. We are in dire need of dog and cat cages and monetary donations to repair the damaged trailer.

That is just awful - hopefully they can recover from some idiots stupid actions. I adopted my kitty almost a month ago from a great shelter. So I am partial to shelter animals.

Ugh that's just so infuriating. I don't even have words to describe how I feel about people who are so thoughtless about animals.

That is horrible! I just have one question....why? I mean, it's not like they had GOOD intentions. The sad thing is you see more and more of this every day. Senseless, stupid crimes. These people need a job, a life, something to keep them off the roads just looking for something to tear up.

We weren't going to be able to adopt her, but the LHS was at PetSmart that day and allowed us to put her into their system, so we could afford to get her shots, spay, etc.

That's great. They've always been so nice anytime I've seen them. Hopefully the community will rally and raise enough funds to take care of them.
