What is with Disney's billing/posting from DVC resorts

Maybe this is not just a DVC related stay issue but I am having a heck of a time balancing my credit card statements against my WDW receipts - here are some examples:

Staying at BCV, $77.62 charges to my folio - posted to my cc account by WDW as Disney's All Star Resort

Staying at BWV, $39.76 charges to my folio - posted to my cc account by WDW as Disney's All Star Resort

Staying at VB, $47.00 charge at Shutters - not even on the folio - direct charge - comes through as Disney Epcot Tickets

Staying at VB, $6.42 charge at Island Grove - direct charge - comes thtough as Disney MGM Studio Tickets

There are more but I think the above makes the point

Is there something to their system that makes this things happen? For example spreading charges around to hit minimums or something odd llike that?

thanks for the chance to vent as I sit here trying to reconcile paper charges to credit card bills

I check mine pretty carefully and so far the charges have always been accurate. Wonder if it's just a clitch ?

So far I've only had one weird billing and that was my last trip in January this year. Got a double billing for beer at the Norway pavilion at Epcot. They took it right off when I asked about it.

That's strange. I checked my Disney Credit Card bills from last year. OKW came up as "Disney Resort DVC". My bill at Boardwalk come up as "Disney Resorts Board". By bill from last fall at Carribean Beach came up as "Disney Resorts Carri".

The plot thickens - just reconciled my Mastercard (Canadian Tire) and the billing names came up as expected - for example Disney Resort Front Vero Beach for one of our VB folio's

Also reconciled my CIBC Visa Card - same as Mastercard - for example Disney Resort Front Vero Beach for one of our VB folio's

Hmmm.........maybe something to do specifically with Diner's Club Canada - issued by Citibank Canada

Jaysue I think if I were you I would call the places on your receipts and ask them what name will appear on your credit card billing for items charged. They will be able to tell you. Explain to them what you have and see if they are able to give you an explanation. If then it still does not add up I think I would contact your credit card company and inform them of the situation.

Just a suggestion for the next time you go to WDW. Charge everything on your room key and it will all go through to your credit card as one charge. Before I leave WDW I always get a copy of my billing to check-it has been wrong about 5 out of the 17 or 18 times I have gone down there since joing DVC. Before joing DVC I had some problems with my bill down there also. That would help I think.

Well, it would appear that this problem is isolated to Diner's Club specifically - regardless of whether I charge with the card direct at a location or charge all to my folio then use the DC card, the locations do not even closely match the charge location

Next time I will use a card other than Diner's Club to avoid this problem

We just received a check for $63 and change from our visit in November. I didn't even notice the over charge on the bill. We were at the F & W Festival and used our room key to charge all week. They did send a nice letter of apology with the check.

Feb. 2003 we were double charged fro the calf. grill , i caught it on our way out on check out day and i had to bring the original receipt and prove which charge was real. after going around proving i was only there once on the night they finally took it of, i should had them produce my signature on the second charge, lol.lol
