What is up with the birds??!

We are staying at the POLY and it is a lovely resort. So many great things, but what in the world is up with the huge crows/blackirds? Sitting on the balcony is anything but serene with all the noise and dive bombing on the grounds. I wonder if people have been feeding them. Please understand, I really enjoy all the wildlife indigenous to the area. It’s just these birds are really loud and annoying.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Haha - exactly!! DH and I just counted 50+ outside our balcony. I suppose if I were a crow I would want to hang out at the Poly!

I noticed more crows hanging around everywhere at Disney when we were there last week than I ever have before... they were everywhere! I can only assume people are feeding them...

We were at the Beach Club at the end of February and there were a lot of blackbirds in the trees at the Beach Club/Yacht Club pool. I've never seen that many before.

Of course. People feed wildlife everywhere, no matter what the signs say.

We were at CR this past weekend. Can confirm lots of birds flying all around most of the day.

We were close to the top floor and they were pretty close!

Well, lots of people think it's cute to feed the birds. So they learn to come around and bring their friends to dine.

We were there in October 2017 and there was a murder (love it!) of crows around just one of the buildings at Grand Floridian. It was the craziest thing, people were taking pictures.

Agree. Michigan has been awful! I’d even take some crows if it means spring is here.

People unfortunately feed the birds and it causes this kind of behavior. Please do not feed any of the wildlife, doing so is actually against the rules at all parks and resorts and even says so in the maps.
