What is up with General Hospital

I have been a regular viewer of GH for many many years....but I dont get the current GH....It is so boring.....and silly....It seems very fragmented.
I seem to remember there was a thread on the board titled....whats new on gh or something like that....I havent seen it in a long time....I wonder how many other fans of the show are disappointe in the current story lines.

I think a lot of it has to do with the current producer/writer, Bob Guza. He was on a few years ago and the show started out good at first, under his direction, and then it just went to pieces. Everyone on the General Hospital boards complained about him like you would believe. He believes in BIG story lines, and this pirate thing is one of them. He also has the fault of focusing in too much on certain characters. Last time he was running things, the Quartermaine family fell apart, which it seems to be doing now. So, I noticed that Bob Guza is back on and that is probably why you are not liking things too much, although, I don't think it has been handled well in the past few years anyway.
