What is UP with Apple Stroller?

Hi All,

After reading here on Disboards about how Apple Stroller was canceling peoples' reservations at the eleventh hour (even if they'd pre-paid), I decided to cancel my reservation with Apple Stroller and buy a cheapie stroller on Amazon (with the free Prime shipping) and have it sent to the resort for our late-January arrival.

Apple Stroller charged me $30 bucks when I made the reservation back in October.

So I tried to cancel the reservation online --- but it appears quite literally impossible on their website. You can "modify," but you can't actually cancel online, it seems. So I tried to phone them, on their 800 number, but it doesn't work from abroad, I guess --- because when i phone from here in Canada I get a "this number not in service" message, over and over.

So I emailed their customer service two days ago.

And? And nothing. No reply.

Any thoughts?

Anyone heard anything lately from Apple Stroller?

Anyone else have similar issues, or is this a fluke?

From what I read it was people who hadn't paid yet got cancelled. Sounded like apple over booked and didn't have enough strollers. And also it was more for people attending the holidays. I would say you are fine. I used apple back in may and had no problem.

As for the phone issue you are correst you can't use it abroad. Another person had posted about that and I believe a friend from the states called for them.

Hope you get things sorted out. Maybe wait til after the new yr and just double check that your reservation is ok
 
We just left Orlando today and used Apple. Everything went fine for us. It was ready for pick up and we had no issues. We prepaid as well.
 
I made a reservation 1 week in advance For a double stroller ..After walking a great distance to pick the stroller up ,It was a single ,So I called (I was told I made the mistake ) that I ordered a single :confused: I clearly wanted a double hints 2 grand daughters ... The man became very snotty and told me It would take 10-20 days to refund my car ..... DoNOT USE THIS COMPANY VERY UNRELIABLE, RUDE!!! and still no call back from the district manager José
