We're going to HH probably in June 2006.... I know this is a long time away but I'm not sure if my kids will be entertained enough... All girls and they will be 5,9,14 and 18. Other than the beach and pool area... what is there to do there.

thanks

We felt the same way until I called the resort and they mailed me an itinerary of what is going on during the week. There are all sorts of activities, like the marsh tour which we enjoyed, (I have 2 boys, 5 and 9), the bird watching was not good for the boys, but we still enjoyed it, there is a puppet show, magic show, camp fires w/smores, etc... but most of all, we rented bikes and went all over the place on the paved bike trails that are on the island. That was the best for my family. As for your 18 year old, I'm sure there will be other things for her to do. Email the HHI chamber of commerce, you can find it on any web search and ask them to mail you stuff. We are going there in 2 weeks and can't wait!!! ENJOY!!

Absolutely nothing!!! :)

If you do a search on this thread, you will get a lot of ideas. But the reason I said nothing is, HH is not the same as WDW. Prepare to relax.

Activity list
-Sleep in
-Stay up late
-Watch a movie (on TV/VCR or at the theatre)
-Rent bikes
-Go for a walk
-Read a book, newspaper or magazine
-Fly a kite
-Take a nap
-Play a cards or a board game

Our family enjoys both WDW and HH, but they are different. Last year we did both and loved it.

The kids program is almost like summer camp. Educational and fun...it will be great for kids of that age. Trust me, they won't want to go home! :flower:
